Fair EnoughI just said he smirked. He apologized to his employers but that doesn't change the fact that he's unprofessional in his fight preparation. His explanation was that he used to be able to make weight no problem and seemed taken by surprised that it wasn't easy like it used to be, except this isn't the first time he's missed weight, so the explanation falls flat. He wasn't sick and wasn't hurting; he's just not taking fight preparation seriously.
In Gastelum´s defense, i think, i think, he hasnt missed weight at MW.Sucks. Had some potential but you gotta make weight. unless youre kelvin gastelum.
That was different! Khamzat is marketable and yells stuff with weird eyes.Yeah missing weight by 4lbs back2back is the wrong to do it
You have to miss weight once by 7.5lbs like Khamzat, then you get the privilege of no repercussions
If he can make weight that isProbably wins a couple on the regionals and comes back within a year.

We just erasing the Rinat mauling?Let's hope. He was an entertaining undefeated prospect TUF winner with potential star power imo. This is a bit harsh
Your examples are from 10 years ago, standards change. Also, Oliveira at least moved up in weight which naturally is going to extend his chances with management.I mean it's somewhat understandable but they need to be consistent. If Battle is getting cut for this, Gastelum should have been cut. Khabib should have been on very thin ice. Oliveira in his 145lb days should have been cut etc..
Gastelum missed weight 2x, once by 9lbs, cheated one time just to make 185... He also no showed at the weigh ins for the Cerrone fight, didn't show up and own up to it, didn't attempt a catchweight... He just ran away and hid then posted a message about it on twitter.
