In fairness, the polls closed around 9pm. Didn't leave the students much time to get up, eat, drink a few half-price pints and make their way to the polling stations

Remain was the favourate but the widest margin predicted was only 55-45 for remain so it was always going to be close.

So these kids feel strongly enough to take to streets to demand soemthing as profound serious as the democratic process and will of the people being ignored, but weren't that bothered about turning up to a polling station to vote in the first place. And these people call leave voters stupid lmfao.

Dole junkies would be far more likely to vote Remain, as the EU is set up to cater for parasites. Both the politicians in Brussels and the fat ugly whores on every UK council estate who shit out a new brat every time they want a bigger house.

Hilarious to see these protesters standing outside Downing Street chanting 'shame on you, shame on you' over and over again when the vast majority of these Tories they claim to hate so much didn't want us to vote leave either. The protesters and Tories are on the same side ffs. The willful ignorance and total lack of self-awareness these people have is something else.

There is no point in protesting it now, sort of the main point of democracy is that you accept a result even if you are not in favor of it.
If people start not accepting/bitching about it now because they don't like the outcome, we don't need democracy and can just go straight back to fighting issues out on the battlefield.

The leave campaign won fair and square. The remain campaign just wasn't able to make it clear to people what will happen in case of an exit.
Now you have to live with it and go from here. I see a lot of people with children in the demonstration, perfect lesson to teach your children you don't always get what you want. Instead of bitching about it now.

People really need to get over the whole white chav "Anti Immigrant" vote. Lots of Asian areas voted Leave because EU immigration laws make it more difficult to get their friends and families in from India and Pakistan which used to be a main source of immigrants for the UK. My local Muslim and Sikh areas have been hit hard by Polish immigrants moving in which has led to lots of ironic complaints by them of Immigrants taking over their areas.

There was a surge of Leave votes in the Midlands and North England which was basically an anti London vote as much as it was an anti EU vote. Lots of these areas have been completely ignored and any "EU" money going to them never reached the people who needed it, most was invested in 90% guaranteed to fail start ups. The problem is the UK concentrates money and programs on Gender and race rather than poverty this leave lots of poor white towns outside of London ignored and breeds a hate of what is seen as the London/EU elite.

There were lots of reasons people voted Leave trying to label them all as anti immigrant little Englanders is the mistake the Remain campaign made and it cost them the referendum. Telling the people you need to win over they are too stupid, racist and poor to make their own decisions and if they don't do what they are told they are in trouble is the worst tactic I've ever seen from politicians.

Thats always been an issue and this entire leave thing has been pushed by the london first rich,deregulating the city more was the entire point on top of breaking down worker rights elsewhere.

The stay crowd mocked as anytime they pointed out flaws ir outright lies in the leave argument they were called scaremongers or the leavers just kept telling the lies ....i mean ''people are tired of listening to the experts'' was the rallying cry and it summed up the leave campign perfectly.

People voted leave because they are sick of being made extinct in their own country like red squirrels. All the other issues were secondary at best. All the media and establishment and political parties and SJWs of course do their pantomime that that's not the case.
