True story: The young contender (per TS) Khamzat is the exact same age as when Shogun was way out of his prime (per Sherdog...) vs Jon Jones.

Pretty sure Shogun's knees were shot by the time he fought Jones, and already had 25 pro fights. Shogun lost to Griffin and even looked bad against 80 year old Coleman who hadn't fought in years.

Shogun started out very young. I remember watching house fights of his when he was like 14 or 15. He was definitely done by the time he fought Jones.
