THIS is the main event.
No thanks.
What's wrong with this as a main event? It's for an event at the Apex.
Did you see Royval vs Taira? That was a great main event.

great fight but few questions. Does this mean KKF is getting next title shot or is Pantoja sitting out till summer or is he injured? If he's out then Kape vs KKF is the better fight to make with the heat between them but I do get Royval being right back in a contender fight despite losing twice to Pantoja. Of anyone in the div he's got two big wins in a row which is better than Kape and KKF but KKF/kape would produce a fresh fight. Kape lost to Pantoja but that was a few years ago in his debut so a fight now esp coming off way he looked in his last fight would be a fresher fight than Rovyal getting back in there after we just saw him lose to pantoja not long ago.
Guess we need to see what Pantoja is doing first.
Please Kape get it done a new contender is desperately needed.
Pantoja already has a win over him
Yeah there's also a lot of dudes who are really good that just aren't active enough like Nascimento, Tagir, Filho, Estevam...all four of those guys could potentially work themselves into big fights if they could fight more than once a yearIts shallow at the top but deep prospectively. Guys like Rei Tsuruya, Tatsuro Taira, Mokaev, Severino, Estevam, Kavanagh etc need to cook.
No clue why they aren't doing this unless they are just going to give KKF a title fight in at 312 in Australia...unlikely considering how quick the turnaround time for Pantoja would beFrance is the fight to make
It's a good thought but legitimately I think that Pantoja is way too small for BW. He's not a massive weight cutter. You could see how much bigger Kai's frame was and he's not particularly big for a BW. Maybe if Pantoja's wasn't so grappling dominant he could do it but with his size and primary means of winning that would be real tough sledding for himThere's really nothing for Pantoja at FLW at the moment if they can't get DJ back for a superfight. Henry and Fig aren't very good candidates in the fact they are old and would likely struggle to make the weight. At this point I'd be ok with Pantoja getting a BW fight to stay busy while FLW works itself out. I mean, UFC allowed it for Anderson when he was champ.
Pantoja vs O'Malley at BW would be fun.
It's a stacked division, but there's a pretty unambiguous pecking order in terms of skill and no one seems to be on Pantoja's level now, or on the level to beat his defenders, the two BrandonsIt’s crazy how shallow this division is.
There's been some banter back and forth between them over a sparring session they had years ago. They both claim to have won and Pantoja has expressed an interest in a fight with Sean recently. It would just be a fun fight. Pantoja doesn't have to put his belt on the line and he wouldn't be making a permanent move to BW.It's a good thought but legitimately I think that Pantoja is way too small for BW. Y'know what I want, is for Adriano Moraes to come over from ONE FCThere's really nothing for Pantoja at FLW at the moment if they can't get DJ back for a superfight
ONEs FLW division is 135 lbs. That guy is huge (for BW) I'm not sure if he can make 125.Y'know what I want, is for Adriano Moraes to come over from ONE FC
His knockout of DJ was admittedly against a way older post-prime DJ, but a knockout of the GOAT nonetheless and skill-wise he's really good
True, supposedly the hydration testing accounts for that 10lbs gap between classes but who knows if they actually are cutting less or notONEs FLW division is 135 lbs. That guy is huge (for BW) I'm not sure if he can make 125.
