It's because of his fake confidence. I watched the dumbass 'ask UFC fighters how 100 men would do vs. a gorilla.'. And he's like 'I think two of me could get the job done.'
Nice to see this corny guy get put in his place and reconsider his standing.
That being said I hope he comes back stronger.
I wouldn't go as far as saying it is "fake confidence". The guy was a high level wrestler in college. I just think he has never been challenged in this life the way de Ridder challenge him last night, and he wasn't up to the challenge in that moment. It's one loss: with the right mindset he can bounce back from that.
Have you ever been up against a guy, at any point in your life in any sport, that was just a level up on you in every way? It is a humbling experience to have especially if you are a reasonably talented kid/man yourself and have a lot of pride. If you are smart you learn from it and, ideally you have this happen to you as a young lad.
You take your licks as a lad so you can make your bones as a man.
meh fight was stopped way early as Bo had him where he wanted him. He was about to bait him into sub.. Bo was playing 4d chess ref couldn't keep up.
