I am having fun seeing Bo's wake up call. He is still a public figure to some extent - ridicule is fair game.

But also remember; you are a forum poster. Not a fighter.

Very few people can be, or will be a fighter of any kind.

Some of you need wake up calls.

* There are some fighters on the forum - your opinion is much greater in the context.

I'm not technically a fighter like Bo is, but I can hold my own against anyone on this planet. Not saying I'd win every time but you would have your hands full, I don't care if you're Francis Ngannou or whoever. I would probably be a small MW or big welterweight in modern MMA but size isn't everything.

Similar to Michael Jai White (schooled Jones in striking), who is possibly the best martial artist on the planet, or at least was in his prime, but just happens to not compete for various reasons.

Bottom line: life is a long series of victories and defeats, where every victory increases your self esteem and ego, while every defeat lowers it. Too many victories especially early on in life can make a person very arrogant; which is why it is important to be tested from a very young age, even if that means a young but very talented kid with a ton of potential being put in his place by an experienced man with less potential. I still remember the first time I got hit flush with a check hook from a heavyweight fighter at the gym: and he had every right to do it. Kids need to know their place: it was a reminder for me that yeah, I had a chin...but also that I was still a small fish swimming with sharks and to know my place (and also be more careful not to get hit coming in like that)

Has Bo Nickel ever been hit like that? Tough to say. And, granted: a knee to the body like that is a different kind of thing and the bodies natural reaction is to fold like that - although that natural reaction can be fought somewhat with experience taking those kinds of shots.

That’s why we’re on the forum saying it dumbass, people are gonna shit on fighters you like, especially when they talk all that smack and go out and suck ass like Bo Nickal did last night so get over it and stop crying 😭
You are right, Bo is a fighter. Just not a very good one. But he kept telling us that he is. That’s why I had a problem with him. Since he got embarrassed last night, we’re all good.

I learned as a kid that most people in this world never put themselves out there and really compete at anything...but will just take sides with whoever wins and ridicule whoever loses. That is just human nature; no, animal nature: to ally yourself with the victorious alpha while discarding and distancing yourself from the defeated alpha.

Not sure what your point is. This is an Internet forum to discuss fighting...

sometimes fans go too far, when you start insulting fighters, but thanks to the fans fighters can turn their hobby into their job, if no one would pay to watch or visit galas all fighters would have to work from 8 to 5 like a normal person.

It's because of his fake confidence. I watched the dumbass 'ask UFC fighters how 100 men would do vs. a gorilla.'. And he's like 'I think two of me could get the job done.'

Nice to see this corny guy get put in his place and reconsider his standing.

That being said I hope he comes back stronger.

The only reason I critiqued him was because while he was fighting unranked guys he was claiming he could beat multiple champs but at the same time didn't want to rush his career. You can't claim to be really great but also want to fight lower competition. You're either there or you aren't there. Not being there is fine but don't talk like you are if you're taking easy fights.

I was distancing myself from Bo Nickal way before his defeat. No one likes a know-it-all , self aggrandizing ginger. It has nothing to do with my animal nature. When Bo got dropped by that body knee, I chuckled uncontrollably out of pure joy. That was my animal nature.

That was my takeaway.

Bo is an athlete.

He got dragged into a brawl by a FIGHTER and Bo did not like it.
He reminds me of Downey jr. in the movie Tropic Thunder 'I'm just a guy pretending to be a guy disguised as a guy'. Something along those lines.
