Bisping's resolutions: fight Anderson Silva, not

If Bispin miraculously makes it past Vitor then I think he does deserve the title shot. He's still going to be made a chump out of by Silva though.

(If Bisping beats Vitor): Say Anderson can't even KO Bisping which we know he definitely can...

How does Bisping win? How on earth could Bisping beat Anderson? He can't knock him out obviously. He can't submit him obviously. He could probably take him down but you know, Anderson has been taken down in like half his title fights. And even then what would Bisping do on the ground? Couldn't even GnP Brian Stann.

I honestly see the only way Bisping wins a fight against Anderson is if Anderson gets a God-awful injury somehow which makes the ref stop the fight or if Bisping gets the most controversial decision of all time in any sport.

I don't even like Anderson. I thought Chael (could) beat him and I think guys like Weidman and even possibly Lombard in the future have a great chance in stopping him. But Bisping, whether he is #1 contender or not, Should have worse odds than GSP-Serra I

Pretty much, I don't think all 3 of the people have much of a chance but if I was to bet against AS I'd pick Weidman as he is decently well rounded, has KO power, and submissions.

Bisping will get Forrest/Okami'd for sure.

I said for "most of the fight".
Silva was man handled in the first fight and the same in the first round of their second fight. Yes he finished but before he came through he got dominated. Bisping didn't.
 
Mike would much rather get bashed than put in a poor showing. he's got a good chance vs Belfort and Silva imo
 
This has to be at least the third or fourth time a fighter has said they'd get in the cage and not be made to look like an amateur against Anderson. This will, yet again, wind up with the said fighter looking horrible against Anderson. Sorry but Bisping has no chance against the GOAT. Hell, I seriously doubt he'll get past Belfort.
 
Would like to see Bisping win just caused I feel bad for the guy. It'd be nice to see him get his title shot, no matter how badly Silva would decimate him.

Bisping doesn't really smash anyone, he generally just out works them. I think he can decision Belfort if he doesn't get caught and keeps up the cardio.

That being said, Silva handled Sonnen better than Bisping ever did, so I don't know what the fuck you mean by that. :)
 
Lets be real here, Bisping has nothing to offer that Anderson has not seen before. Bisping would be a highlight reel win for Anderson.

And why does Bisping feel the need to take a shot at Sonnen? Sonnen went for a spinning backfist and slipt, big deal.

Hope Belfort KOs bisping quickly.
 
What I love about Bisping and you cannot deny is his willingness to fight ANYBODY in order to get his title shot.

He isn't turning down Belfort like some others then whining about not getting his shot,

He is willing to put in the work to get what he wants.

Love him or hate him, you cannot deny he will fight absolutely anyone who asks, unlike some others in the MW division.

Agreed. I think the man is a jerk between his spitting at corners and using inflammatory gay slurs, but as a fighter, I may respect him more than most in the UFC.
 
i think bisping has a good chance of beating vitor but he gets hit to much and vitor could easily ktfo. i still think bisping takes it though via UD or TKO, using his jab and takedowns to control the fight after vitor gasses in rounds 2 and 3.

if he does win i dont see anyway he could beat anderson, the only way anderson loses is if someone does to him for 5 rounds what chael sonnen did in their first fight for 4.8 rounds. can bisping do that? i dont think so, the only people i can see beating anderson at middleweight is GSP if/when he moves up, maybe after beating Diaz and Hendricks

I feel sorry for anyone that fights with Silva...this is going to be a brutal KO worst then hendo one
