Pretty crappy session today. I had no energy and didn't bother with any PreWO drink. I broke my softball grip for chins (bw=250), but that can be fixed. I kept the weight light on the dips so I could go deep. Teh Bench sucked. Is it ok to say I hate benching...Well I do. I really don't enjoy it at all. I'm going to buy some rings soon and stick to dbs for a while, with the occasional cg bench. I really dig pressing shit over my head though.
Their was a funny moment at the gyn today though. Two PTers decided to squeeze in a chest workout. 3x15 bench @ 135lb. The kicker was they used a Theraband for their benching. This must of added a whooping 5lbs to the top of the lift. The smaller guy who is normally very quiet was yelling out the number of each rep when he was spotting. I mean yelling: THREEEE, YEah GET IT YEAH.......FOUR.....Needless so say. It was an awesome spectacle. I couldn't help but stare blankly. When they were done they looked at me and said, "We need to get some energy in here." I said, "apparently so........."
Leaving the gyn my wife come over to me and said, "please tell me that wasn't you yelling." She was on another floor tearing it up a treadmill and heard the glorious cry of the benchmonkey. I just said sorry hon' sometimes I get carried away when I'm when to 10. She punched me...and we headed home.
