Aldo never faced anyone on McGregor's or Holloway's level during those 9 years. There were not many good opponents available.

Quality means more than quantity. Or perhaps you consider Mighty Mouse the greatest P4P fighter of all time based on his number of defenses?

McGregor is the best featherweight, be reasonable.

I am not sure broken Aldo, Ortega and (say) Stephens are better than all Aldo's opponents.

He definitely avoided rangy strikers. The closest thing was Kenny Florian.

I agree with this but you can say the same for Rich, Matt and some other UFC champs.It is what it is - hell if you really look at gsps- opponents compared to today's 170ers, it looked like easy picking.
Look at Liddell"s title defenses .His bar room brawling, over-committing punching was good enough for the bums he was facing then pride 205er s came and party was over.

Who do you consider the best featherweight ever?

It used to be Jose Aldo, but he got one-shotted by McGregor, so IMO, this makes McGregor the best featherweight of all time. What's your thoughts?
