Could watch makybe 5 minutes of that bullshit.

While their opinions are bang on, I don't feel like watching three dipshits sit around and discuss their feels about cinema. It's such an inferior set up to Mr Plinkett.

Their feels about cinema? You mean discussing the pros and cons of a movie?

Anyway, I value those three dipshits opinions over most any internet reviewer out there because they're all actual film makers.

I gave them a shot

They are too immature for my taste

They are too busy trying to be funny then giving a legit straight forward movie review

I understand thats the gimick and thats why people like them but yeah just not my thing

Really? That's strange, because the pros and cons are broken out pretty well from them.

It's just that crap like this lends itself to be made fun of so easily.

I'm not knocking their opinions...but the delivery is bad. It just isn't entertaining to watch. And it's more annoying considering they've all but abandoned the winning formula of their Mr Plinkett character. Who was much more entertaining because if his slothy portrayed life style of a shut in/serial killer who happens to also be an incredible movie critic. Much MUCH more entertaining than 3 fuck heads sitting around drinking beer.

Ironic, because I feel if they reviewed themselves...they would have ripped into the failed reasoning of abandoning the formula that got them noticed for this current piece of shit. They basically George Lucased themselves.

Maybe so. I couldnt get passed the first 5 minutes to get to that point tho

Like I said. Just not my type of humor

I rated the movie 5/10 btw so I am not fanboy raging at them or anything

I just dont enjoy them

Well it seems to resonate with people and they keep getting more and more popular. The Plinkett reviews were scathing and well thought out opinions on the mess that the Star Wars prequels were. Movies that had been out for several years. How do you expect to put something like that together that wouldn't take weeks for a new release? By that time the movie is already out of people's minds.

It's three educated opinions in an open discussion about a movie. I'd take that over the bland shit that's pretty much copy and pasted from every single wannabe movie critic on the internet.

Anyway, I'm still confused by what you meant about their "feels."

So you didn't watch it?

Gotcha

Yeah I'm not going to watch the complete 45 minute video

Sorry
That's perfectly fine. You don't have to like the sense of humor either.

But if you're going to chime in with a critique, maybe know what you're talking about beforehand.

Upset? Nah, upset would be me blocking someone on Sherdog.

All I said was that your opinion means nothing because you watched 1/9 of a video.

And I haven't watched WWF since I was 10 years old. I have no idea what the hell you're talking about lol.

If they cut back on Plinkett's side stories of a hooker in the basement type shit by at least half...and instead just kept the focus on the reviews with clips from the movies...they could pull it off. I feel they are just being lazy. The winning formula of Mr Plinkett was his catch phrases in concert with great editing. Shit like "Stop wasting my time..." (show George over analyzing some shitting CGI character that's going to eventually wreck the immersion of the audience) "...I said stop wasting my time!" Or my personal favorite...his defeated "...Ohhhh".

This of course takes much more work but that's the price you are gonna have to pay if you want 1 mil views consistently.

I felt like Jesse Eisenberg thought he was playing the Joker. Lex is calm, cool, and collected. Prone to fits of rage at times, sure, but mostly well-prepared and two steps ahead of everyone else. Jesse played him as deranged, skittish, and impulsive. I was not a fan.

Batfleck ranked in the bottom half of the actors who've played the role.

Cavill plays a good Superman, especially the dark, angry one imagined in a Frank Miller inspired story. For some reason, though, the Superman costume looked sequined and gaudy the whole time, and I found it distracting.

Gal Gadot was unimpressive as WW. She doesn't look the part, sorry. Too skinny. Same complaint I had when they cast her. She looks like a Bond girlfriend.

Also, they could have left all the dream sequences on the cutting room floor, made the movie come in at 2 hours. And I've liked Zack Snyder's depiction of action in The Watchmen and 300, with the macro-closeups and slo-mo, but in B vs S, the Doomsday fight was pure Michael Bay -- damn near unwatchable. I still enjoyed the movie as a whole. It just fell short of its potential, just like 95% of comic based movies.

I just don't see it being feasible. You need something out quickly to not get lost in the shuffle and capitalize on the movie's popularity. Even two weeks down the road from a major release is too late. And I definitely wouldn't say lazy, they work on a ton of shit all the time. Half in the Bag, Best of the Worst, their own movie productions, etc.

They'd have to write the script, record it, edit it, then publish it, all within a week. You won't touch the quality of the Plinkett videos going about it that way. There were no time constraints because the movies had been out for a while at that point. It was something that they were able to sit down and work on which is what made them so great.

I like what Half in the Bag brings to the table. They're informative, funny, don't take themselves too seriously, and it's all out in time to still be relevant.

If I'm unsure about seeing a movie I read Heavyarms/Dragonlords reviews, get the consensus on the movie thread, and lastly I see what the RLM crew thought in their HiTb review.

Generally I find my tastes align with those 3....

I had reservations about this movie...I kind of want to see it more now because it sounds like a mess
