Multiplat BALDUR'S GATE III

Just got this game. Tried to make a custom character and the appearances are laughably bad. The human character options make him look like he should be designing the game instead of inside the game. Like the developers used their own faces for the options.

Went with Gale so I'm stuck as a wizard. How long until I can change my class?

Once you find Whithers in Act one you can respec.

Spent the weekend making the Underdark my bitch, and then clearing out the Gith. Headed to the darkness. Those damn shambling mounds were kicking my ass.

I'm about 40 hours into this and still feel like I have no idea about what to really do. The scope and detail is overwhelming.
All I suggest is take your time exploring , talk to everyone, some fights are going to be difficult which brings a challenge but tactics and strategy will play a role.

Play with classes find the party combination that fits your playstyle . Most importantly enjoy the game , it has many facets and lore and pain staking detail .

Yeah bloody loving it. My trouble is that I'm a nerdy guy but not particularly intelligent haha
Sounds like me to be honest. I had to try and do everything and find everything the first time through. I think I opened every crate and barrel that was possible to open. I don't want to admit how many hours I spent on the game the 1st time through.

Smoking everyone in the Creche was pretty cool.
I returned to it after the fact, and was like werent you guys talking shit?

I forgot how much I hated the trails of Shar, specifically the fucking Leap of Faith, so I cheesed it and just used Fly (a spell I NEVER use - probably should).

Use a character with enhanced dark vision. It will give the outline of the platform and where to go

I loved the first one, I haven’t played any games in years, recently got a ps5
Will try
You’ll lose hours playing and not realize it . It’s really in depth stories are amazing and tons of replay value, graphics stunningly beatiful.

Characters are so well written and interesting , the banter they have between the party depending on your composition different dialogues happen .

One of my personal top 3 games now

On my last playthrough I played it on the 2nd hardest difficulty, and in the lead-up to the final boss (Climbing up the tower) I tried for two or threr hours to get all four of my party members and that prince up one or both of the paths but kept getting nailed by exploding mortar fire.

I basically said 'Fuck it' and sent one party member with Fly & Invisability up the tower, solo, and when you get to the portal the entire party teleports to meet you.

Is it cheese? Oh definiately.

Is it the best way to get through an area of the game that's too damn tough? Oh Definitely.

Weird, I wonder if they patched it out in patch 7. I haven’t played since 7, I’ve been just downloading mods and going back to SM2 and Rogue Trader lol
Only mod I've downloaded was the party member one and LOVE the interactions between all the members.

Gale is still worthless.

Just added Haslin to the party and him turning into a polar bear has been fun. Can't wait to try him becoming an Owlbear.
