Multiplat BALDUR'S GATE III

He took Isobel the first playthrough so I reloaded and barricaded the whole of last light inn, not one of his summons could break in lol. I used slow on him with gale and through cloud of daggers on him with hold person. He died quickly after that .

Scratch and Owlbear are always in my camp . I forgot the Way out by Liam, that’s a quick and easy way out
Another tactic, if you have a cleric in your party, you can cast sanctuary on Isobel before you start talking to her and it gives you a little bit of breathing room at the start of that fight.

Unless Isobel attacks or a spell to damage which she did all the time for me and broke sanctuary lol.

Here an easy way to do last light. Do every quest and buy whatever you want . Just don’t talk to isobel and you can skip Marcus fight lol

Damn, she usually gives me a round to keep the winged dude busy. I'm about to start act 2 in honor mode in a couple days and now I'm second guessing.

I would skip Marcus then, you still get the happy ending when she reunites with Aylin and they’ll stay in your camp till Lorokan fight ( don’t let Aylin kill him or don’t bring her) depending on your choice .

I must say since I couldn't sleep last night that I downloaded the unlimited roster mod. Can't get it to work for some reason, probably because I was trying to figure it out at 1am.

I did however manage to completely destroy the goblin village. One thing I never really used was grenades but had a fun combo of using a void bomb to suck a bunch of them back into a Cloud of Daggers.

Also started the fun off with tossing a smoke powder barrel and then hitting it with a smoke powder bomb - big boom, much death.

I'd try it on its hardest difficulty with Tav & 5 others.

Six character squad is the sweetspot for these type of games, just like Wasteland 3 & Xcom2.
Got her yesterday, and been running 6, and just crushing most things. Lae'Zel, Karlach, Wyll, Shadowheart, Asterion, Me. Had a tough go with the Gnolls and the Tyr Paladins was a bit of a challenge (although that was because 2 characters got stuck outside down the fucking hill).

Was sick today so I played some and found a new area in the Underdark I'd never seen before. This game keeps delivering.

So on the boat crossing to the forge in the Underdark they have that boat slide up next to you and you get the option of talking your way through the encounter, or choosing violence.

I decided to chose violence.

I made a very big mistake,

I got off a couple hits with Wyll and cloud of daggers, I got a swing on their Captain (missed) and Karlach jumped on their ship to start beating some ass.

And then it was their turn - 1st attack and I get yeeted off the boat. D'OH!

Karlach met the same fate a little latter, although she did manage to kill one of them.

Shadowheart got a bath.

Wyll just got killed in the traditional way.

It was pretty funny to be honest.

I can’t wait for the gun mod to come to console lol. Saw a video with Gale just obliterating people with one lol

Yeah I like 6. Rogue Trader has that too. Just like in Wasteland, I like splitting my parties into two groups of three. 4 just wasn't enough for BG3, prob my only issue outside a buggy ass Act 3. Whenever I play it again, I'll definitely be using that mod and upping the difficulty.

6 just allows you the flexibility that is needed.
Karlach - wild heart Barbarian
Lae'zel - fighter- thinking of re-specing to a Paladin.
Shadowheart - Cleric
Asterion- Assassin
Wyl - Warlock
Me - PaliBard.

I don't use Gale because I think Wizards don't offer the same utility as a Warlock.

When I get to act 2 and am able to, I'm probably switching out Asterion for Halsin. I want to see what I can do with a Druid.

I recruited Jaheira for my party, usually had her on adventures with Karlach and Shadowheart. She's awesome, so I imagine Haslin would be too. I love the nostalgia from BG2, not to mention we banged, but she's really well written, loved visiting her house. I think some of those kids were mine... :D

I'm looking forward to not having to agonize on who to bring, because I always enjoyed Asteroin. It would be nice to be able to use Gale too, but I'm with you, would rather bring Wyl.

1st playthrough I used Jaheira, but I duel classed here as Druid/Bard. I wish Minsc was available sooner.

If you get a vampire ascendant Astarion, try re-specinng him for a warrior. 6 attacks with bonus damage is no joke at all.
