I was honestly thinking of Bard before deciding on Paladin. I'm went Oath of Vengeance but figure I'll eventually end up Oathbreaker.

I’ve never played pally period but my HM run after patch 7 I might play as vengeance pally for those smites.

Right now on my third tactician run I’m playing a sorlock Duragar, I’m constantly invisible because of racial passive and twin casting fireball or EB people left right and Centre lol.

HM run I do I’m thinking of going full on Dark Urge and embracing Bhaal. Gonna gaslight Gale into blowing himself up in nether rain so I can skip that fight lol
 
alright, todays the day i finally move on to act 2 and the shadowlands. got my blood of lathander and my awakened ilithid powers. all ive got left to do is steal some egg for some merchant and i shoiuld have everything in act 1 cleared top to bottom. as far as i know anyways.

so far it's been smooth sailing. except that one boss in the forge until i figured out how to fight him and where to position my guys.

alright, well there was a few more encounters and areas i somehow missed but i'm all ready for the shadowlands now. i killed that crabby old merchant who wanted the githranki egg, cause when i picked it up laezel told me whatever i do dont give it to her. sold her my owlbear egg and then killed her to get it back. no regrets.

not sure what i'm supposed to do with these eggs now.

i battered it down with laezel and made short work of it. i even got an achievement during that battle for performing 5 actions in one turn. i snuck up on it and surprised it with a range attack from a bow, then i killed its statue buddy with laezel and it gave me another free turn, and then i used action surge and got an extra turn and then i used a bonus to slap it down some more. i'm not sure how it all went down but by the time laezel gave it a good thrashing my pally was able to make short work of it with a couple smites.

i don't even think it managed to get a lick in on my party.

Edit. I have her topless at camp because I think thats how she would roll hanging out with the misfits that reside in our home base.

In the Goblin Camp, somehow fucked up the Drow Elf shit, killed her, and now every damn corner I turn around I'm getting attack and it's pissng me off lol. Didn't get to do any of the other quests in the camp dammit.


I'm running Paladin/Bard multi-class. Like the fact that I've got a bard that can wear heavy armor and tank.

Next time I play the game I'm going to choose Bard as my class. My current playthrough I'm playing as a rouge so I let Astarion sit on the bench until I thought why not reclass him as a Bard?
He is now the most fun teammate to roll with.
This is my third or fourth playthrough and the first time getting to the endgame/act 3.
I'm not an experienced RPG gamer who is fluid in all the mechanics and nuances that a game like BG3 offers.
I just want to finish it, but I keep getting distracted!
Now I'm balls deep in Kingdom Come Deliverance, and gripping for the sequel that drops in February.
First world problems in a nutshell.
 
I see I'm not the only one still playing this. I've one play through I haven't finished with a buddeh, solo on this campaign, getting close to Act II. Have enjoyed the monk and ranger so far
 
While playing yesterday I came across a small area in the swamp in act one that I completely missed the first go around. Even fought some creatures I never had before and got a cool (for act 1) shield out of it!

I haven't got Karlach yet, but when I do it's decision time... Do I go light on magic and kick Wyll to the curb? Or do I send Astarion packing (who's a killing machine for me - went assassin for his sub class)?

Behind Minthara’s chamber up one of the ladders there’s a way out . If you can make it to where High Priestess Gut room is pick the locked door and go out that way too

There’s no shame in it. Lol I spent more time reloading on my first play through then playing it lol. I got to act 2 and didn’t enjoy my class and started over for my second playthrough which I got to act 3 and still save scummed especially when it came to last light inn and making the mistake of interacting with Isobel lol
 
kept getting ambushed by these explodey things in the shadowlands who kept ambushing me. everytime i nuke them they just keep exploding and taking out a couple of my party members. act 2 aint no picnic so far lol.
 
Looks like patch 7 is out for Xbox now. Time for some mods and evil playthroughs.

oh shit. looks like its on like donkey kong.

lmfao i slayed him in the first turn, 4 attacks with laezel. get fucked. now i got to deal with his buddies.

laezel and my pally just filled the room with uppercuts. now there's only one dude left against my party and an enraged village full of people lmfao.

lolz the villagers took care of the last guy before any of my party members could get a lick in. this encounter couldn't have worked out any better for me.

There's another way out by where Liam was being tortured. I don't mind having to kill all these fools, I just hate possibly missing out on some of the items they were selling.

Plus, I can't leave the Owlbear cub in their hands. He's got to be set free!

He took Isobel the first playthrough so I reloaded and barricaded the whole of last light inn, not one of his summons could break in lol. I used slow on him with gale and through cloud of daggers on him with hold person. He died quickly after that .

Scratch and Owlbear are always in my camp . I forgot the Way out by Liam, that’s a quick and easy way out
