Thats usually majority of all RPG companions where they outnumber good to evil by 5:1. Very similar to Dragon Age Origins where the only evil companions are Morganna and Zevran
You can choose a distinctly evil character to play in BG3 though, with an evil end goal in mind, so having the ability to turn your companions evil or get more evil companions would suit the story very well. One of the main strengths in BG3 is you can really do what you want.
In DAO the overall goal is to defeat the greater evil even though there are morally questionable choices you can make. It's not like you can enslave Ferelden in the end.
