Has the US kidnapped a president and 1st lady before? Usually the US backs a coup of some kind.
It's fuckin strange they took some chinnys in, with mh60s -- vipers as distraction, nothing fired at 'em whatsoever -- and like 10 mins later -- it was reported he was captured and out. It literally seemed to have happened that fast in real time

Wouldnt be shocked if it was just a staged "give" up light show

The kidnapping (sorry capture) of the Venezualan President was done in conjunction with US Law Enforcement guys, this is completely legit and law abiding, nothing to see here enjoy your weekend.

The US government has had a $50 million indictment and bounty/arrest warrant on Maduro for years. He is coming here to face charges for drug trafficking.

And yes, they went into Panama to arrest and take away Manuel Noriega. Also for drug charges. That also accompanied the overthrow of his government though. It’s unclear if this constitutes the end of the actual regime in Venezuela.

which competely falls apart if you look at his social media posts which arent exactly peaceful
Not buying it, but the theory seems to be:
He was offered to be exiled to some Arab nation, while keeping a large amount of money (if i'm not mistaken, this was actually semi-confirmed)
This would likely piss off Russia/China, who've invested in keeping his regime in power,
so he'd have to look over his shoulder for his remaining days, look no further than Assad getting poisoned in Russia.

Therefore this way he got ouf of the country, they also secured his wife.

Seems a lill far fetched so i'm not buying it
We'll see soon enough what happens to Maduro in US custody

I don't even think they knew what happened until 1-2 hours after -- VP is now just questioning shit.

Bonkers operation. -- they are demanding "proof of life" kinda shock.

Trump should have his FIFA peace prize taken away imo
on a serious note how is that even possible to let your president be kidnapped like that by a country attacking you and threatening you for months? either Venezuela have the most unprepared military in the whole world or Maduro is in on it (probably on the epstein list too)

every google keyword for mar-a-lago, president, elections, overthrow is gonna be b0rked as fuck in about 30 mins heh

No wars they said
I'm not sure venezuela even knew what happened tbh -- same as iran getting their shit taken out -- they didnt know an operation happened til after media reports.... I'm not praising a political narrative -- just the fact that shit happened so fast, that they literally had no idea WHAT happened til afterwards.

But the vice president is still there so

Not just you, brutal out here.
Nah I got 3 screens 2 ips and I run 9950x gaming level stacks w/ 192 gigs of ram on a normal basis -- so I'm more curious what potato sherdog is on in terms of pure HW/stacks. Cloudflare aside, if the hardware is ass, it tanks like this -- NVMe, Redis, tuned DB, and sane caching/CDN -- really ain't a reason to tank in 2026

i aint pushin war, i aint got an agenda -- i just think its fuckin nuts that the story so far -- is the ch47's -- chinnys -- some mh60s -- and some az1z's went in and snagged a dude til we know more

So Venezuela has no air defense at all?
Helicopters can just swoop in like nothing?

I mean its not like US has talked about hitting them.
They had to at least have some preparation...

Even Somalia managed to "black hawk down" a chopper.

This feels weird to me.

He all but was surrender yesterday -- just my opinion ( do yer own research in these live threads ) -- but it seems like it was a 10 minute thing, start to finish -- so he prolly had surrender or it was preset

Or... they didnt think the orange fuck would actually be that crazy, and send in arma3 choppers to YOLO the shit.
