News Aspinall to have double eye surgery

i hope this is the beginning of his villain arc. it's really the only reason to keep bringing this bullshit up. like i'm with him, that was fucked up and Gane is a dirty bastard, but give it a break already. unless, like i said, this is his villain arc and he's going use this content to tell a complex story of a man shaped by trauma on a quest for dominance. his surgeries goes awry and he's forced to don a Lucha Libre mask to hide his hideous toilet fingered eye sockets. come back to the UFC and fucking backbreaker the shit out of Gane. then turns to the crowd, a complete heel turn, and starts shitting on everyone for teasing him. glorious

I'm in, vacate title, winner faces Aspinall. I'm at the point in frustration I'll take Volkov vs Waldo for vacant belt if the division can move forward. Aspinall's surgery isn't until mid January. At a certain point people have to let go of Aspinall and let him fight for the belt next fight.
Agreed. The HW division has been stalled long enough & it HAS to move forward like yesterday. However that may look imo. I don't think we have ever seen a division this stagnant ever.

I don't give a shit anymore. Let's get the HW division going again, damn. Strip Tom & when he comes back give him the direct title shot. I don't fckn care if it's against Volkov/Rico winner at this point. Also make Pereira vs Jones <goldie>

I don't care to see Gane, Jones or Pereira near the HW title.

Gane lost to Volkov, Jones and Nguannou already and he is annoying dirty nailed cheater
Jones never fights, is old, retired already, and only rescinded his retirement for the White House. He should retire
Alex is ready to retire from MMA

Volkov vs Acosta for interim

Tom could go permanently blind and people on here would say he retired cuz he was "scared to lose" but then they'd defend Jones fighting someone like Mark Coleman (cuz "as the 1st HW champ he's a big win for legacy") or someone like Andy Ruiz ("big wins since he was a HW boxing champ")

Lol, at Jones defending a title against Mark Coleman……

No, that’s what the Jake Paul of MMA Fedor Emelianenko does, he loves to fight old fighters out of their prime, fighters who are coming different sports, fighters who are unskilled period. That’s not a Jon Jones M.O. that is however a Fedor Emelianenko.

The last fight Jones won was against Gane...Aspinall's eye assassin...in about two minutes...

Your fantasies don't need defending, because they don't exist. You have to make up fantasies to defend your boy.

jones un-retires. jon jones and alex to fight for the interm. jones wins. retires.
undisputed

That’s not a Jon Jones M.O. - this Video is.

But after two months, do we finally know which eye is damaged? Is the broken socket the problem, or the recent bacterial infection (which someone whose workplace is a gym mat clearly only comes into contact with on match day)?
I just understand that the rematch won't happen (at least not anytime soon): that's the only clear thing emerging from the constant hysterical updates we receive on social media.

If he does indeed have a double eye surgery.. What are the chances he comes back to fight MMA at the highest level?

It’s not 100%

Those surgery are extremely risky. There is a YouTuber that did an eye surgery for cosmetic reasons and he ended almost blind

Both? I didn't know people still didn't know that. He did say it a few times

I fail to see how a broken eye socket wouldn't be a problem, but if it's all the problem, I couldn't tell ya, but it really wouldn't matter when we know the solution on the cards is his scheduled surgeries.

No, probably not any time soon, but I do imagine vision recovering from treatment could be shorter than something like a ligament in your knee. And since we're barely 2 months past a fight ending in injury, not sure why we'd expect a rematch date or anything.

Dern fought on the same card and there's not a single mention since about who is next and when.
Less than 2 months since Islam won, but we know he's not fighting again for another 3 months at least.
Pereira fought 3 months ago and we don't even know for sure what division he's fighting in next.
Going on 5 months for Khamzat and no schedule.

So I feel like I have to take all this "Why don't we know when the rematch is yet?" hoopla from everyone as just salted japes

Jon Derangement Syndrome is real

Has Tom finished up his Lasik and labia surgery yet? We need the Chump back in the cage so his paper belt can be taken away and he can fade back into obscurity. To be the champ you need to be tough and Tom is not that mate.

but, but, but... tom's a pussy!

watch some of these fucktards actually try to say he's faking the surgery.
There's literally zero proof Tom has had surgery, which he claims he's had on 1 eye so far, and that he's got upcoming surgery on the other.

For... something(s) cause he doesn't even say what these surgeries are for and his medical reports said his eyes were physically fine and therefore wouldn't require any surgery to begin with.

It's on Tom to make us believe him. And he's done a horrible job since October.
