Multiplat Armored Core VI

I've got to the next boss... Balteus... and was able to widdle it down to 10% of its health on one attempt.

I figure he's going to be much much easier.
This is ass backwards from the usual player experience but everyone has their own journey. Usually Balteus is a wall but maybe all the gear acquisition and practice from the Juggernaut has made the game easier lol

The game was actually easy before Juggernaut and it was easy between that and Balteus.

My theory - The vast majority of players either download the game in its entirety or buy it on disc but download a Day1 patch if not the several patches released since then.
My console isn't connected to the internet.
So I just put in the game disc, downloaded exclusively what was on the disc to the console without the Day1 patch.
I bet I'm playing a version of the game they still were working out some issues on QA playtesting.

Balteus was nerfed so if you beat him without updates, you're beating the hardest version

Based off every stream I've seen of Juggernaut I guarantee you I beat the hardest version of him too.

Kinda curious how far I can get through the game before calling it quits and downloading updates to make it easier.

By the way, an unofficial metric of a games quality is if it's still being talked about after it's 'hype cycle' has expired.

'Hype Cycle' being the weeks before the game is released with the previews, trailers, and reviews.... to the weeks afterward with everyone who anyone is playing it, streaming it, and talking about it.

And over a year later, videos are still being made about AC6.
