Multiplat Armored Core VI

FINALLY got more time to play. Decided to farm some credits for different gear (as well as sell some off that I found useless).

Ended up defeating Balteus on my 4th try. One HELL of a fight.

I’ve never been into a game’s photo mode as much as this lol

Chapter three boss in there so spoilering.

Hit my first boss that feels completely unwinnable even with my tank build. Back to the drawing board.

Michigan. What a pain in the ass fight

Chapter 2 was super short. I didn't even change my build.

I'm thinking things are about to ramp up.

Took me about five tries. I ended up with every bit of my ammo spent.

About to finish my third playthrough and god damn - this is a 10/10 for me. Amazing gameplay, art direction, story, customization, music, boss fights, etc. The story changes/choices and additional content in subsequent plathroughs is the icing on the cake.

Chapter 4 boss is absurd, hadn’t had to change my build much until that. Ridiculous, but seems I’m closing in on the end of the game.

I had to create a build specifically for that boss on my first playthrough. Two zimmerman shotguns, two stun needle launchers (the weapon you use against the chapter 3 boss), the super beefy bipedal legs, high hp head and cores, and whatever arms/fcs chips I had that benefitted mid range and long range the most. One of the craziest bosses I've ever fought visually, it's amazing.

And that’s AC 6 finished! Went with the “good” ending but I’m definitely going through again a couple more times to get the “true” ending. I fucking love this game. Might be my GOTY.

Combat is incredibly addicting, once I got used to the input heavy play style I couldn’t get enough. Beautiful game from the environments to the style of the mechs, fantastic. I actually liked the story and the characters, the personalities were varied and interesting. Obviously the customization is a massive part of this game and getting a new set or unlocking new weapons was like Christmas. Really encourages you to not stay in a singular play style and experiment which I appreciated. Just an incredible experience all around.

A few more pics. Spoilers, obviously.

Do you see that changing at all? This month and October are absurd. This is my personal list of games that I plan to buy. I don't think I'll be able to get to them all though with time being limited but my point is I think this year it's possible to have your personal goty change every month with how many releases there are.

Lies of Pi
MK 1
Lords of the Fallen
Spiderman 2
Sonic Superstars
Super Mario Wonder
Star Ocean Second Story R

I’d have to think about it. I was super deep in RE4 and Tears of the Kingdom as well this year. Spider-Man 2 is likely the only game from that list that has a chance for me.

Getting up in his face during second phase worked for me. Was a great feeling finally beating him

NG+ is awesome. Completely new fights and missions. I’ve heard it picks up even more in NG++.

What do you mean? Like there's different bosses in NG+?
You can change up scenarios in your missions to change the trajectory of the storyline. In an early mission I accepted an offer mid mission from a rival that doubled my payout. Instead of us going 3 on 1 against another mech like I did my first playthrough, I was in a 2 on 1 fight against the mechs I previously worked alongside.

That then opened up a completely new mission with a new boss fight.

Aiming to 100% this by the end of Sunday! I am so obsessed with this game. I usually don't break 30 hours with most games, even the ones I like - I am at about 70 hours with this at the moment. Only game that has ever made me this invested time-wise was Sekiro, which I have around 110 hours in currently (also the only game I have gotten 100% on).

I’m 40+ on it and in the same exact boat. Totally obsessed with it. The skill progression is real, I feel like a goddamn ninja (speaking of Sekiro) slicing through mechs now but knowing that if I fuck up, I’m usually cooked.
