You ever seen a trump rally...its idiocracy played out in real life...that or they are all of bunch of morons. The more politics dominate people's lives and society as a whole, the more empty and soulless that country/civilisation is.
Not even poor whites. Uneducated white voters in poor areas who aren't themselves poor are the strongest group for Republicans. Actual poor whites are pretty evenly split (depends on the specific election).

This is where a lot of people find themselves these days and it's pretty much where I am in a lot of ways.On many issues I am VERY left leaning but this ridiculous american ultra progressive woke left trash is unbearable. I'll be rolling with Putin and oil executives before you see me with 17 genders, self loathing types.

What is it with you freaks and your complete lack of self-awareness? Also, what does your response have to do with my comment? God you people are such morons.
Show us a pic of yourself then, lets do a side by side.
Ugh. Another pitiful, limp-wristed, insipid lib responds.

The problem came when the left stopped focussing on economic issues and went full in on social issues.
The irony is that there's still massive economic inequality in a lot of western countries (particularly the US and the UK) but most people have become totally accepting of people from different races and different sexaulities.
The left ends up focussing on crazy or trivial stuff whilst masses of people go hungry.
Fair enough but I suppose the left and the right are both hugely multifaceted. I'm from the UK so I don't know as much about US politics but the Dems seemed to go all in on a lot of identity politics too.The big accomplishments of the last 2 dem presidencies (stimulus, obamacare, chips act and the awfully named inflation bill) were all economic though. It tends to come from a pretty soft social policy but the idea that it's the Democrats that don't talk policy and engage in culture wars is just... completely wrong. At least from over here
Also, Biden is pretty old school when it comes to left wing politics (so old he's basically senile). Most modern lefties are not like him and that's the direction that the left has been moving in for the last 10-15 years.

Defunding the police all occurred in Dem cities. The trans mania is far more prevalent amongst Democrats than Republicans. Sucking up to Islam is another one as is DEI, which we've seen with everything from the Secret Service to Disney content.

I didn't say that the left only care about culture war bullshit, I made a point of saying that the left is multifaceted. So rather than address the fact that somehow the left wing only care about culture war bullshit despite numerous examples provided showing otherwise, you're just... doubling down by talking about other culture war stuff?
Also, I'm 99% sure that the bold isn't true, but if you have a source I could read I'd be happy to.
