Are there stats on fouls?

Would be nice to know the percentage of fighters that got eyepoked, then decided to continue the fight. What percentage ended up winning?

Or break out down even further and look at who was ahead on the scorecard at the time of the foul, and who won the rounds after the foul.

I'd also be interested in the percentage of fights where a point has been deducted. It seems super rare, and yet we see fouls all the time.

Anyone know if this stuff is tracked and where I could find it?

I like the idea, but the UFC and the referee needs to have a better scale for fouls as well, like a technical 1 vs technical 2 for basketball fouls. Two groin strike fouls are most likely not the same.

It could be an accidental strike and it would take a couple of minutes to recover with no serious impact, or it could be like Gonzaga vs Tuchscherer there Tuchscherer was throwing up in the corner, got that Andy Wang warrior spirit, came back to fight and got head kicked KO'd.

Penalize these cheaters every time. I guarantee they were only giving Gane a hard warning for poking both eyes

Only one stat is important. In the history of the organization Tom is the first fighter to scream he can’t see in the first 30 seconds after a poke, end the fight, with no injury determined by multiple doctors
Bigggest profile fight for sure, i think Jeremy Stephens got very upset when Yair Rodriguez eye poked him, but that fight was only 15 seconds in, no one was winning or losing that one, but his reaction was a little more believable.

Aspinall´s "act" right after DC´s interview is all weird to me...his eye is open and he reacts like "surprised" and covers it quickly...dude was losing and quit, not his fault, is dumb Gane´s fault, he robbed himself of the title.

Tom is the first of his kind to do this with no notable damage and Dr. clearance. Whether you feel it justified or not Tom quit for the easy W. The exact same people screaming for Aljo’s head for quitting to an intentional strike for the easy W have surrounded Tom with warm blankets and milk to protect him from mean jokes and chiding for his quitting ways.

Man, Tom is not doing himself any favours with the clips he's releasing for his PR blitz.

There was an article somewhere showing his protective cup after the fight. It was absolutely destroyed. Poor guy.
