Anyone see Weidmans latest ig off?

Not surprised...motherfuckers.

Did you ever stop to think that maybe, just maybe everybody has heard him addressing it and they don't believe him?

It certainly occurred to me that they don't believe him. What would be news to me would be if there were a compelling reason not to. To my eyes, the footage backs up what he said.

You don't deserve the benefit of the doubt after admitting that during that time you signed autographs on photos of Silva's snapped leg and mocked the injury by posing lowkick checks for pictures.

Now, this is news to me. Got a source?

You'll believe anything anybody tells you online, child. You don't have the self-awareness to notice someone obviously conning you. You're probably on the spectrum. How do I know? I'm a licensed Pediatric Neurologist. You believe me, right? Because I just told you I am.
"everyone that is more successful than me is lying"
imagine being that pathetically envious

You sound like you have already made up your mind and will refuse to change it. We can test this right now.

Source is the recent podcast of Weidman interviewing Anderson Silva where he actually admits to these things himself.

Now that you've looked it up and heard him admit to this stuff, this is your chance to show that you're not close minded. I'll see your moment of truth tomorrow, I gotta take off.

Didn't he start training when it was still up in the air whether he was gonna need an amputation ? I get that the doctors recommend activity to get blood flowing at certain points but Christ man go for a walk or some shit rather then train...
Go for a walk and THEN train?

If I’m reading this correctly it looks like weidman and his team rushed it and now he has another butterfly fracture on his fibula instead of just on his tibia. (Which never healed/possibly got worse) Not sure if he was gonna have to get another surgery in the future anyway but it seems like those rehab guys made it a 100% guarantee he has to now. I remember Anderson only had 1 surgery and he definitely wasn’t walking after a couple of weeks.

Look at the dudes fractures with the rod in. Going to those guys and rushing the training and walking was a huge mistake. If you look at the second picture it’s clear he has huge fractures on BOTH sides of the rod.

EDIT: if mods see this can you change the title from “off” to “post” lol

That looks nasty. pieces of bone floating around. Cmon Chris. Grow a brain. It takes time

Called it when he was boasting about getting on the treadmill or whatever it was right after the injury. The guy seems delusional, like he wants to get back in the octagon in record time and amaze everyone. You can't rush healing. Time to rest up not try to act like you're in a Hollywood rags to riches movie.

Well, I don't know if this proves me far-minded, but I searched the internet and gather you're referring to the following statement:

"I appreciate that but I still have to get it off my chest, because it is — in my mind, it’s almost therapy for me,” Weidman responded. “Because one of the things that bothers me a little bit about the situation is that there were times, I remember right afterward doing all these fan meet-and-greets ... fans would want me to take pictures with me checking a leg kick and them doing it. And I remember saying at first, ‘No, no, no, I’m not doing that, that’s disrespectful, that’s disrespectful.’ And then as time went on, I was like, ‘Alright, whatever, I’ll do it,’ and then I started taking pictures like that.

If that's it, no, it doesn't convince me that he lied when he said he didn't celebrate Silva's injury. It's clearly not to his credit to have gone along with those fan requests--he says so himself, but that doesn't mean he misrepresented his reaction in the cage.
If you think I overlooked a more damning admission in the interview, please point it out.

I mean it didn’t sound like it took much convincing. Imagine being bullied into taking a picture you don’t want to when you’re the champion of the world, completely believable lol.
I also remember him saying he didn’t know Anderson broke his leg until he walked over. Not sure if I believe that or not because he did go to Anderson to try and console him while Anderson was in pain so maybe he didn’t know

Nobody cares that you didn't like how he celebrated after Silva's leg injury, you gotta stop embarrassing yourself. Weidman like every fighter, had everything on the line in that fight. His family's future financially, emotionally, his legacy, his health. If he knocked Silva out and celebrated you wouldn't care lol.
I don’t care. My post was to explain why some people thought it was karma. I’m not one of those people.

In your recollection, what did he describe and what did you see?
He came out with an indignant statement recently saying he didn’t know Anderson’s leg was broken and that’s why he celebrated first before checking on Silva. But in the post fight presser he said “when he put his foot down I knew it was broken.” It’s not a huge deal, just man up and admit that celebrating was kinda dickish.

I find it easy to believe he would try to be supportive once he learned his opponent was injured, whether or not he knew the exact nature of the injury. I don't see why other posters find that farfetched.

He's dumb for rushing it. Just because he could put weight on it so early does not mean he should.

Listen again: he says "as soon as he put his foot down, I knew it was over." Clearly a fight can end without a fracture, and fighters commonly celebrate finishing a fight.

Dude get the fuck out of here. He said “I wasn’t sure it broke until I seen him put his foot back down to the mat.”
If you can’t acknowledge that I’m gonna have to assume you’re trolling. Listen to it again.
