It was very odd that he really wasn't very good at pro wrestling with his size and athletic ability.

Not being comfortable on the mic in the beginning is easy for writers to work around. But I think his general personality put off people behind the scenes. My understanding was his in ring work wasn't really improving. My guess is his heart just really wasn't into it and then his sexual assault case popped up and it was easy for the WWE to part ways at that point. Even though they dealt with much worse over their history.

Maybe I don't understand the word relatable but usually it's actually true for fighters who are not Conor type, down to earth people are relatable. Unless you have super crazy personality like Conor then you can say he is relatable. But also usually someone with rich personality is different than others so they are not relatable either.

Also I don't really in general know why people who talk normally are regarded as having no personality. Charisma is one thing, but personality is another. It's sad that one has to be almost weird or brash or a bit crazy etc. to be regarded as having personality. But it's true. If you behave normally you have no personality and are boring, apparently.
And this is by no means an attack at your post. You wrote what people generally regard as true.
