Anyone Else Uber-Hyped For Tom vs Gane 2?

Dana needs to book a better Main Card than UFC 321 -- that's the lesson to learn.

Dominant themes have now turned to intrigue -- and Fouls have separated the fans into the Cheat to Win Camp vs Theater Kids Camp.

Tom & Gane both have something to prove -- and Dana needs this British French showdown mess to get cleaned up before his Fatweight Division can move forward.

Given how the first fight played out it's now seen as a 50/50 battle. "Tom is a quitter" & "Gane is a dirty fighter". I only wish they could have it in the UK or France. Major heat and anticipation as to how the fight will play out, unlike how it felt heading into UFC 321. Plus its Heavyweight.

Where does this rematch rank on the UFC's to-do list heading into 2026? Ilia/Paddy, Kayla/Nunes, Jones/Pereira, & Khamzat/Imavov are all great but Tom/Gane might be my #1. I'm indifferent to who I want to win but there's no doubt that I can't wait to find out.

What say Sherdog?

Dana is that you?

Yeh, looking forward to seeing Gane finish Tom the Pom again.

I'm quite interested in this rematch and I hope Aspinall sinks his fingers into Gane's eyes as deeply as possible.

i'm honestly gonna try to not even think about it or i'll just get annoyed and bored of waiting.

No longer interested. Heavyweight was already in a terrible spot with Jones sitting out. That's why Dana brought in the intern in the first place. But then Tom got it and does exactly the same thing and refused to fight anybody but Jones. Then while Tom holds up the division, he goes on a year and a half long media tour about how he wants to be active and everybody is ducking........ Then he finally gets in the cage and is clearly being pieced up. He takes one of the pussiest eye pokes ever and milks the shit to a NC so he can run.

So long as Tom has gold. Heavyweight is a joke. Dana should immediately introduce another interim and forget eye patch tom exists. Hes nothing more than a media baby now. I legit won't watch anything with Tom as a main event. Especially when it's accompanied by a women's co main and a card of career decision fighters.

totally am. just imagine if there's another eye poke though. sherdog will implode.

I'm not. Tom has shown he will quit when faced with any sort of adversity. Early career, Stuart the cab driver got him in a heel hook and he offered zero defense, no attempt to escape, just immediately submitted. Vs Blaydes 1 he injured himself throwing a normal leg kick that wasn't even checked, and folded over in agonizing pain ( Derek Lewis fought 4 years with a torn MCL and ACL, Shavkat entered the Garry fight with a torn MCL and won, I could go on), Gane he got eye poked and surrendered immediately, and low and behold, doctors found no injuries to his eye. He's a glass cannon with questionable heart. If his bull rush tactics don't work in the first 2 minutes, He will be looking for a way out at his earliest inconvenience.
