So how come it didn't change under bush or at anytime there has been a republican congress?
Blame Bush also. Blame everyone involved.

Its for the security team so they arent wasting their time with every person. The trained response people are the ones you want in that situation, not every single person on base. emergencies are enough of a clusterfuck already without every idiot who thinks hes rambo shooting at each other
I'll ask you this question, do you take your TOOLS to work? Should you be allowed to be PROPERLY EQUIPPED at work in your opinion?
That literally has NEVER happened before Clinton made all US bases gun-free zones. In 200+ fucking years, not a single individual out of a hundred million US military personnel.. not one situation has ever come up where people were shooting at each other in confusion from a mass shooter.
People are more intelligent and perceptive than you think. Since they made Arizona a constitutional carry state, where ANYONE that's not a felon over the age of 21 can carry a weapon concealed. No paperwork, no background check, etc.. they also said blood would be covered in the streets. Mass shootings. Road rage turns into shootouts. Neighbors killing neighbors. None of that happened. Crime rates actually plummeted.
Clinton was looking for a solution for a problem that DID NOT EXIST.
When showing up to work a mechanic brings their wrench, a school teacher their books, and a soldier their gun.
How many people got shot on base before that ruling and then after?
Everyone being armed would cut down on the abilities of mass shooters, but I feel it would increase the prevelance of shootings.
Do you have that info on Arizona either?
False analogy. The soldier does not own their gun, their employer does.
And the gear they are issued they are responsible for, they don't just hand out any weapon to anyone in random order they are assigned.
Yes I am aware of that, but they don't own said gear do they? It isn't as though they get to take it home with them once they are discharged.
I just don't understand why everyone is whining about politicians. People are dead and tragically so and everyone runs and turns this into a blame Clinton or blame Obama or Bush or whoever for banning weapons in what is for all purposes a workplace, albeit a very different workplace. Not everything needs to be political. There is only one person at fault here from my perspective and that is the shooter. He just happened to kill people on a military base.

Blame the media more than anyone as they give these incidents weeks of coverage.
So you think someone couldn't just purchase a firearm off base, bring it with them onto base and start a shooting...like the last 2?
