Comparing Merab's fight vs Aldo to this fight is a fucking joke. Merab did more work in the standing and actually tried to take Aldo multiple times. Aldo was tagging Mario and you could give him the nod but against Merab there was no way. He never let Aldo even get started.

Mario promised that the fight against Aldo would be a bloodbath, Merab didn't. That's fucking lame.

Merab was also striking more than Mario was. It's one thing when Merab did it for the first time but when someone replicates the same exact strategy (and even admits to it) and then proclaims 'it's not my fucking problem' as to why they put on a stinker against a legend, you can see why this is a quite different situation.

Also, Merab is very respectful as opposed to Mario.

They have different styles. Khalil is hard to fight because he is a counter fighter that blitzes. He covers a lot of ground and he is fast.

Ank is going to be annoying for Alex because he is a southpaw who is tall. His hands are fast but his footwork isn't. Ank also doesn't carry the same type of power as Khalil. It is enough to stop someone but he doesn't have a one hitter quitter. Alex can't kick the front leg in this matchup; I am not sure if he can throw rear leg body or high kicks either because of the takedown threat. It's probably going to be a boxing match again with Alex being taken every so often. Ank doesn't have best control or ground game. Alex might be able to hold him in guard or half until a standup happens or gets up on his own.
