Anime and Manga v37

Dafuq man?!! Like I haven't gotten far into the series yet due to quality issues in the scans, but shit man aren't those some of his most well known arcs from the manga?

Yes they set the tone for the Berserk universe.

Cockroach anime right? Also, isn't Assassins Classroom actually kind of bad? Like dafuq is it in the Top 5. Still, it does greatly please me that Love is Hard for Otaku is doing so incredibly well given that it's apparently a one woman opperation and she basically started the whole thing off from Pixiv(Japanese Deviantart basically) and it's gotten this big already.
That's the one. And Ass Class is also quite bad as well.

Dunno if it's release schedule related, but the lack of Food Porn on the list bums me out.

THEY DID THE BLACK SWORDSMAN CHAPTER IN THE OLD ANIME I DONT THINK THEY WANT TO RETREAD ON ANY THING COVERED IN THE ORIGINAL ANIME AND MORE RECENT MOVIES

IMO THEY WANT TO EXPEDITE TO SOME OF THE BIGGER POST GOLDEN AGE STORIES

THE LOST CHILDREN ARC ESSENTIALLY JUST A REINTRODUCTION TO GUTS THE BLACKSWORDAMAN BEING THE FIRST

ALTHOUGH I CAN UNDERSTAND WHY ZIEG MIGHT BE UPSET ABOUT IT SINCE I THINK HIS AV IS FROM THAT PARTICULAR ARC

IT WOULD BE NICE TO INCLUDED EVERYTHING IF SERIES WAS GONNA BE SOME 100+ EPISODES BUT IT WILL PROLLY JUST COVER THE ARC WITH THE POPE/CHURCH STUFF AND HOPE FOR ANOTHER SEASON I DONT KNOW

AS FAR AS VISUALS GO WE ALL SAW THE 3D IN THE PRE VIEW AND IT WAS HEAVLY USED IN THE MOVIES I DONT THINK ANYBODY LIKES THAT SHIT REALLY BUT THERE IS A BUNCH OF LIKE CROSS HATCHING IN THE REGULAR ANIMATION STUFF GIVING IT A SKETCHY TYPE LOOK THAT DOESNT EVEN FIT THE MANGA LIKE I WOULD UNDERSTAND IF THEY WERE TRYING TO EMULATE THE ART STYLE OF MUIRA BUT ITS NOTHING LIKE HIS ART STYLE

Assassins Classroom is not as bad as JBS makes it sound he is just over reacting in my opinion

Eh, I tried reading it and thought it was completely retarded. I have a hard time coming up with another series of the top of my head that can contend with it as far as dumb concepts go.

Did your capslock button break?

the new Berserk is a pass for me i just cant get passed how they decide to do the animation after watching the movies awhile back

Recently watched:

One Punch Man (1 season): Thoroughly entertaining anime. By reading the synopsis, I thought to myself "a guy who can finish all his opponents in one punch ? where's the fun in that ?". But actually, the series actually pull it off, and the premise isn't as predictable as it seems. Likable characters, fun story, good humor, and Saitama's pretty epic.

Verdict: 9/10

Owari No Seraph (2 seasons): It was a surprise hit for me. The reviews for that one seem to rank it as a pretty average anime, and my anime watching friends told me to watch something else instead of it.

I don't get the Owari No Seraph hate, to be honest. The anime clicked with me fully. The first episode got me hooked, and the post-apocalyptic vibe is just amazing. Characters from both human and vampire side are complex, and the anime builds up very well until the mind-blowing finale of season 2. It leaves you wanting for so much more.

Only minor gripe is that the anime contains some shounen soapy clichés, but otherwise it's one of the better series I have seen.

Verdict: 8.5/10

BT'X Neo (1 season): I enjoyed Bt'X, and Bt'X Neo continues the story from were Bt'X left off. After the novelty of the characters wears off, you're left with a fairly linear and predictable anime. It's fun, nonetheless, and you kind of want to see Teppei continue his journey to defeat Raphael.

Verdict: 7/10

With One Punch Man , I like that Aside from Genos, Bang and Speed O Sonic sound no one really knows how powerful he is. Not to mention when he showcased his strength it was so overwhelming that the people were sceptical .

I tried to keep it spoiler-free, but if you wanna discuss it, fine.

//Spoilers ahead//

I liked how the alien overlord in episode 12 somewhat gave Saitama a fight and wasn't finished with one punch.

I'm also digging the internal politics of the hero association. The blue haired dude, the yet unknown 1st ranked hero, the metal knight, the dude who warned Genos from the metal knight, etc. It's building up nicely so far.

The minor supporting characters are likable and memorable as well, like the Mumen Rider dude.

Mostly, I find it refreshing how OPM doesn't take itself seriously, but doesn't over indulge in not taking itself seriously (ie: Gintama).

The other web comic (made by One; same guy who created one punch man) Mob psycho 100 is also a good series. It's pretty hilarious too.

Have you tried reading Yamada and the Seven Witches again. It gets more interesting the more you read into the story.

Relife pulled a netflix and released all episodes in one day. I'm getting hyped up by weakly releases but I welcome such a change.

Yea, can't wait till it airs in one week.

Nah, I read 11 chapters of it when I first gave it a shot. That's almost two volumes which I think is enough of a chance.

Ah, so you didn't get the chance to read what the story is really about. It develops so much the more you go on.

The author really should have hinted at there being more because I don't remember the smallest inkling of a wider storyline. Even I am a Hero, which takes a full volume for the zombie story to actually kick into gear, has little hints that build up along the way.

Anybody here ever read Koroshiya 1 (aka. Ichi the Killer)? Great fucking manga. Not so-good movie.

I know what you mean but the main thing that broadens is the mains power. By chapter 11 he is believed in having the power to switch bodies, which happens to not be the case whatsoever.
