Takamura wants to keep his aura of invincibility. He actually cares about his fellow boxers but he thinks the gym would take a huge blow if he loses. He also most likely has eye damage He's trying to reach his goal fast. He feels he has no time to feel sorry for others while his career is on the line.

I wonder if Morikawa finally let's him lose , Takamura's schitick is getting old to me, and him Conjuring the heavier weight classses is a joke pipe dream ? Kinda want to seem him get humbled and see how that affects the Gym.

I could see him losing next fight. He honestly should have lost against Eagle, Rabbitson and Bison.

I have a suspicion it's closer to the first one.

It was a pretty major point in his last fight and if you look at some of the panels of his face, his right(I think) is whited out. It's always used to imply blindness or at least partial blindness.

It's been a problem after the Hawk fight. Before the Eagle fight Takamura had symptoms of a detached retina. It's now gotten far worse since then.

Question, in a discussion with my friend about Bleach and he believes that the series is currently okay/decent and has been so for some time. I've never kept up with the series so I don't know exactly, but hasn't the series been crap for the longest time with only the smallest glimpses of brilliance here and there only to crap again? Somewhat related, but what anime to recommend to my youngest brother whom is 9-10? He already wants to read/watch One Piece and Fairy Tail.

Bleach has been rather mediocre since the soul society arc, the Aizen climax battle went on far too long and for me left a bad taste in terms of closing the arc. the quincy final arc looks good but the story is meh and the pacing is slow or either rushed as fuck from chapter to chapter...it's not as good as it was

Watched the second episode of Berserk and the music was better. They are taking some interesting liberties with the story, though. Farnese knowing that Guts was the raiding commander for the Band of the Hawk for one. I wonder why they decided to skip over the Lost Children Arc, it's one of my favourites. Maybe they didn't want to show Guts murdering a bunch of children.

Both as needed. He's a nice good kid so stuff like Gundam in general he will not get beyond the whole giant robots figting thing. DB and DBZ I straight up recommended him though. I'm thinking brighter more colorful if you will, but still in the appropriate range for a 9-10 year old weaned on modern cartoons instead of the crazier shit we were.
