I probably already posted here months ago, but just agreeing again that gauges are retarded IMO. Like, what happens when you're done tryina have gauges? You have huge floppy hole ears?

I had 7/8 inch gauges. Took them out in Feb, now in August they've shrunk to tiny little bb sized holes. You wouldn't even notice it if it wasn't pointed out.

I just don't see how it is "trying to be different." When all of your friends/peers are doing it, isn't it just trying to be the same as them? If you personally REALLY like the look and are doing it strictly for yourself, I guess I can understand it, but don't try to give me any unique/different bullshit.

Have you even met Dre's friends? He is very dif then the crowd he surrounds himself with. Plus knowing the man.. Yes, he is very unique and quite different. No cookie cutter in that kid. Did I ever say I personally like the look? Right, so dont give me no bs about someone you do not know, trying to "fit-in". Oh.. So does anybody feel that they have accomplished anything in this thread? Because i actually read all the posts, and I'm sort of nauseous after reading all that whining and bickering.

And if anyone actually reads this post, i have questions that i don't feel were adequately answered. If the whole piercing thing is about expressing your individuality, why do i see so many people with the exact same piercings in their faces, day in and day out? Do you folks that have gauged ears, snake bites and whatnot actually feel like your "being an individual" and "expressing yourselves"?

Also, were do you draw the line? Is the next faze of people expressing themselves going to be that whole gauged cheek and split tongue shit, if so how do you not consider that self mutilation?

I'll keep an eye out for a response as i am actually interested in answers.
