People forget despite how much success he had against DDP, stuff like this was still happening....Khamzat is very good but not what the odds would suggest in a hypothetical matchup. Alex would embarrass him, Khamzat hasn't shown the ability to finish elite fighters (outside of a jaw injury against Whittaker), if he fought like he did against DDP he's going to be put to sleep within 3 rounds.

Many want to talk about Khamzat's fights with Usman & Burns but those were years ago. We gotta go off of his most recent performance in which was fckn dominating. If Khamzat gets a hold of anyone they aren't going anywhere. Love me some Pereira, but Pereira wouldn't be able to do shit against Khamzat once the fight hits the mats. Yes, Alex got TDD, but idk if anyone would be able to non stop stuff Khamzat's takedowns for 25 minutes especially at this point in time.

Pereira definitely checks off all the boxes in the stand up department, but we all know that Khamzat wouldn't stand & bang with Pereira for more than 5 seconds. Pereira will always be able to land a shot that puts anyone to sleep, but if I was to bet I would put my money on Chimaev grappling, wrestling, & pace over Pereira's chances of landing a KO.
