Realistically the highest probability would be Jones win by submission. But that would also depend heavily on if Jones’s wanted to just win or prove a point while winning. If Jones gave into his ego and wanted to strike with Alex to beat his at his own game that would be an amazing technical display and possibly ill fated for Jon.

See any thread about a champ after a few good wins and a bunch of guys on here will be calling them the a goat. Guys even call an unproven Khabib with 3-4 wins the goat because he retired before it got hard.

Jones is in my top 3 but that saga cosplaying as HW champ is an embarrassing blemish on him IMO. At least GSP vacated his honorary MW strap and went away. Jon would still hold it today if he wasn’t forced to defend it or leave
