Am I crazy to think that Sean will make quick work of Merab?

haha good man I was eating crow too. Im not a Suga fan but I just didnt think Merabs weird style would work but it absolute did.
 
Keep in mind Yan and Henry were also embarrassed by Merab so its weird/bullshit to automatically say Sean is not good and will not be champion again. Hats off to Merab however as he was an animal and something he was doing was messing with Sean ability to do anything until the end. I want to see the Umar vs Merab fight but I am not sure how he is going to beat Merab.

He paced himself for once and his feints drew enough reaction to time for takedowns. For once he didn't blindly rush in and Sean had no idea how to deal with that.
I thought rushing in with crazy pace was the only way he knew how to fight but kudos to Merab for his gameplanning. His footwork was decent too.

Agreed, its hard take anything away from Merab as he shut Sean down from the start. What Sean did in the 5 to his liver is what I thought was going to happen in the beginning so a rematch down the round could be interesting but it does not really matter as both guys seem like decent humans and both are very good.

Every opponent that Merab wrestle fucked stood in front of him. Cejudo moved around in the first round and gave him problems but as soon as he stopped doing that, Merab overpowered him. I don't think Sean will stop his movement and we've seen Merab hurt before and O'Malley is the hardest hitter in the division likely.

O'Malley seems more focused. Hopefully it's a good fight.

Sure, O'Malley could win in the rematch. It's MMA. I predict though that Merab outpaces him and takes him down at will and wins another UD most likely.
