UFC should launch its own app with 10$ a month with the whole library and all live numbered events
Let me stop you right there playaWait wasn't there some kind of "promise" at some point from Dana

Hopefully the new guys have some standards![]()
It's ironic because dana likes to criticize boxing promoters citing that every event is a "going out of business sale" but as far as broadcasting deals, Is the UFC not the same?Someone will buy it, someone will overpay for it, and then the UFC and all its shill will gloat like they won the lottery themselves and are true visionairies.

Not only that, none of their outgoing business partners ever seem too broken up about it. Post-Zuffa UFC has made it clear that it is them first, all others be damned including business partners. It's ironic because dana likes to criticize boxing promoters citing that every event is a "going out of business sale" but as far as broadcasting deals, Is the UFC not the same?
Seems like they rugpull every broadcast partner they have. First spike, then fox, now ESPN, Has the UFC ever resigned with an existing broadcast partner? or do none choose to resign after they grossly overpay for the first contract? UFC can't even keep reebok, and they suck.
Let me explain it to you like this:"the UFC doesnt care they are getting paid" - then stop buying the fucking subs and PPVs, they will soon care when they have to negotiate again and the next company in line are looking at the shit PPV numbers and subscriptions, i almost feel like some people only arrived here a few days ago
Oh don't get me wrong, the comedy was implied. Sorry I should have made that more clear.Let me stop you right there playa![]()
But this is the part i cant wrap my head around, The UFC has done a great job at steadily rising, from spike to now espn.....The ESPN deal was a learning experience for not just ESPN and the UFC, but every potential future partner. This is what happens when a talent agency owns a organization. Real sports broadcasters have seen all the red flags that comes with the UFC's product.
what a strange analogy to make, the UFC isnt a person, its a product, so it has a contract with a company, and when they need to negotiate with a new company, they will probably have to provide solid numbers and financial information to them, so the new company knows it is worth the investmentLet me explain it to you like this:
If your boss offered you a promotion where you get paid more, while never demanding that do you more, would you do more anyway so when it comes time for a performance evaluation you can say you did more? Why do more when you've not been asked to? Why do better when you've been promoted regardless anyway?
also, for what it's worth if you actually DO pay for the subs and then the subsequent ppv, It actually gltiches, freezes, times out and does everything an illegal stream would do. You pay a sub, the sub gives you permission to buy a ppv (unheard of, but okay....) then it doesn't even work right. Like wtf? If you're going to provide PPV that requires a SUB to buy, it had better fucking work right.
they will probably have to provide solid numbers and financial information to them, so the new company knows it is worth the investment
again, it just seems like UFC fans are listening to Dana and he is pointing the finger at ESPN, well maybe go with a company that isnt fucking retarded, its a very odd take
its like moving something to a cloud solution and then complaining that the cloud solution is shit, guess what, that is on them for moving to that solution that doesnt fucking work
LOL Now im certain you dont understand what's going on, at all.if the UFC doesnt give a fuck about performance or SLA's then how is that ESPNs fault, you morons are still subbing and paying for PPVs that dont work
Agreed. Was a terrible platform.I really hope so. I'll be so happy to cancel that shitty app and service.
You know what i do when a product is shit and doesnt work like it should do?LOL Now im certain you dont understand what's going on, at all.
Espn has removed the burden of ppv performance and SLA's for the UFC. Espn Paying upfront for ppvs that haven't happened yet is their way of saying "don't worry about the quality, just make sure there is x amount of events, and x amount of ppvs per year" to which UFC obliges.
What everyone was able to gather from the initial deal with ESPN is that they just want to flood their network with content. Quality be damned. Yes, I suppose i theoretically COULD blame the UFC for watering down their product, but they are obeying the standard that has been set by their broadcast partner
