I find it disappointing to see khabib not continue in his prime , rack of a few more defenses and step up a rung and beat a relevant welter.

In the last year alone 3 of the most dominant champs we had lost their belts. Usman, Nunes and Izzy were all thought to be unbeatable in their weight class. Look what happened. Khabib was very dominant and could have went out and had 30 title defenses but could have just as easily lost his next fight.

You all think that the guy you saw was unbeatable and maybe he was, who's to say that's the guy who shows up to the next fight. Fact of the matter is his next fight he could be sick, hurt, having an off day, had a bad camp, had a bad weight cut, had an opponent who could stuff his take downs or just straight up get clipped.

His small sample size at the top was great but nothing we haven't seen before. Check out Jone's first 3 title fights, or Aldo, or MM, or Anderson.

Khabib is a mixed martial artist , which means mixing all together.
he doesnt need to KO Conor , that gif is enough to see how he send Conor to the ground and Conor will remember that his whole life.he also slapped him severel times, I mean standing infront of arguably the best striker and slapping him means something.
this is not boxing , you dont need to stand and fight , you use all your weapons.
Johnson hit him but it was not as bad as Rogan said it is. Khabib easily managed to beat the shit out of Johnson and all of his opponents. imo Khabib was in more danger against Dustin.

I think you had a bit of a backtrack there after reading my comment. Yes it IS mixed martial arts. And the disparity between the striking/grappling skills of GSP and Jones is nowhere near the gap between Khabibs wrestling and striking which is what I said from the outset.
