He was the champion when he fought like half of those cans lol.
 
Fedor Emelianenko is the best fighter we've seen so far.

No one yet has matched his mix of skills, abilities, athleticism, iq, etc...
 
Anderson Silva, sure. Fedor? Hahahahahahaha no. Only in weird Fedor worshippers minds.

I'm not a pro fighter.
But I think with 20 more lbs and a strict work out routine, I could probably take on the game show and talk show host particularly with the supplements available in Pride.
 
lol Fedor maybe, but depth of competition is very questionable

Anderson definitely not. Got cleaned up when elites joined the division. His flashly highlight reel striking only worked on very average fighters
And pissed hot too many times to count.

However Anderson has the 2 huge weapons to fool the casuals and get on the goat list.
1 - hes a nice likeable guy
2 - he had a streak, casuals love the streaks.
3 - (bonus) has some cool finishes

GSP was always clean and fought much higher level of competition.
Heck even Conor is more of a Goat that Anderson, once Conor had cleaned out his division he stepped up in weight and got a 2nd belt. Once Anderson cleaned out his what did he do? "I maybe go and fight and light heavyweight for the title.." nope all talk. Instead he clowned himself and got KO'd by Weidman

But yeah, clown on some average strikers, always be nice and have a "streak" = Casuals "OmG heS the G0@t"

Most talented of all time - Jones
Most talented of all time but no-one cared - Demetrious Johnson
Most 'what could have been' of all time - Khabib

Greatest of all time - GSP

if you dont respect Anderson and Fedor there is something seriously wrong with you. I would love to see what some of you will be doing at 46 years old. These guys are fighting killers and winning.

GSP and Fedor are the goats. Jones is so juiced he is not in the conversation. Andy is ruled out too sadly. Khabig was a giant lw who nearly killed himself to make lw and never stepped up. Edit DC is in the conversation as his biggest losses were against the UFC's biggest drug cheat.
 
Fedor in his prime is impossible to defeat. The combat Sambo war machine is unstoppable. Invincible.
