Thread needs more Randy Savage. Imagine UFC fighters could cut promos like this?
Unfortunately, I feel like foulers take advantage of the lack of consequences from their cheating actions and a lot of time, they end up having some sort of impact on the fight.Again, yan made a mistake. I believe he thought that the knee became legal when aljo’s hands came up. He fucked up for sure.
So yeah, there’s the mistake, and then there is the blatant milking of the situation. Aljo’s job there is to present himself accurately for the professionals to assess whether he can continue. He didn’t.
Again, you’re abdicating aljo’s actions because another action happened first. Again, they BOTH matter. Aljo isn’t just in the free and clear because someone made a mistake first. Imagine if every foul was followed with the fouled fighter opting out of the fight…..

I don’t think that’s what yan was doing here. The risk of dq is too great. It’s not like an eye poke or a nut shot or back of the head blow.Unfortunately, I feel like foulers take advantage of the lack of consequences from their cheating actions and a lot of time, they end up having some sort of impact on the fight.
Whats funny with fighters going that route, KTFO'd fighters recover faster, flatlined guys recover faster and better, they usually leave the cage on their own, Masvidal was put to SLEEP and he was giving interviews still inside the cage, yet Aljo took an hour to stand back and iirc he limped out of the cage, the girl Randa Markos kick-slapped pulled a similar act, she got carried out of the cage, if they are going to milk an illegal blow for a DQ win, just take the Diego Sanchez route, say you cant continue.
I feel bad for Aljo, it's not his fault that Yan threw that knee
Right, and 9/10 of them have never even taken a simple punch to the face, and therefore don't have the slightest clue about what Aljo was feeling after what was a pretty brutal knee. You notice how there haven't been a lot of fighters (as in any besides Yan) who've criticized Aljo for how the situation played out? Go look up the tweets in the immediate aftermath. Most were either just surprised/disappointed that it was ending this way or critical of Yan.In this case it’s fans whining about a fighter showing a lack of grit in the heat of the moment and getting rewarded for it.
You seem like a decent enough poster but what is with calling everyone sir? Comes across as condescending
Pretty poor promo by an Oscar level actor
The fact that people still blame Aljo for Yan being a complete dumbass is mind boggling to me.
Next time how about you don't cheat Petr? Don't cheat next time..... The blame rests solely on Petr Yan. No one else. He fucked the division up by cheating against Aljo and no other narrative is genuine and I personally don't give a rat's ass about Sterling.
I mean he's gotta be terrified. So I can't fault him too much for such shitty trash talk. He knows he's the definition of a paper champion and a fuckin terminator is coming for him. Enjoy it while you can Aljo, or better yet come up with an injury to you can prolong your "reign". Yan
