Aljo cuts weird promo, looking LEAN

The fact that Yan was out wrestling him is the scary part. Where do you go from there? Yan dropped him in the first and only gave up one useless takedown before putting on a clinic from there and making Aljo look like an Ammy.

I will put respect on Aljo's name if he wins fairly this next fight.

It's kind of ironic that MMA fans are the whiniest most trigger sensitive group of sports fans on the planet.

You guys made him do this. I genuinely believe that if Aljo wasn't immediately crucified by the keyboard warriors for not getting up after a vicious illegal knee, he wouldn't have said fuck it and gone with this shtick.

Hopefully he took the time to game plan right. Yan did add a little more milage on with his last fight and maybe The Aljo camp have seen something they can work with since the last rodeo.

No but the highschool level acting after the knee was definitely all him.

Yea you can blamed him for that actually, fake af

Though to be fair, there must be a lot of things in Aljo's mind at the moment, figuring out should 'i go to sleep?' Should I stand up and pretend nothing happened?

His life flashes before his eyes, he suddenly decided and chosen that... yea im gonna be the champppp lol
Im of 2 minds here. I don't like that he did it... Buuuuuut it's not like you can expect the referees in MMA to enforce rules properly. Yan did get a free clean knee to the head and was probably going to get nothing but a finger wag from the ref if the fight went on. I don't think Aljo was knocked out and unable to continue by any means, but he may have been pretty good and rocked from it

There was a muslim once asking the sheikh (islamic scholar), "during fasting month (Ramadan), a food and water suddenly dropped into my mouth, should I continued fasting?" - Aljo situation reminded me of this

Phil Baroni vs Amar Suloev.
Phil takes a real knee that would've KOd most people...Phil comes back to win huge.

Makes the knee that Aljo took look like a feather.

What's your point? That a free illegal knee to the face can't change the outcome of a fight because Phil won?

No sir, I'm saying Aljo took the easy way out because he knew he had no chance of winning that fight.
Anthony Smith could've taken Jon Jones title the same way, but instead did the honorable thing.

OK, but that doesnt address my point at all. Yan was taking the easy route by using an illegal strike. I believe that puts us at an impasse

That was brutal.

Cutting a cheesy promo is one thing, but when the finished product is a 30 second video spliced together from about 20 different 1.5 second clips it looks pretty bad.

Would be hilarious if he goes out there and destroys Yan.

Actually I believe that was more a miscommunication on the part of his corner.
Now, I believe he should've known the rules, but that doesn't forgive the the nonsense from Aljo at all.

So I'd say we're more even than at an impasse sir.
