No problem. You seem like a pretty good guy. Keep with the training, and keep your intensity. Just know where to draw the line.thanks for the advice

you're a wrestler? you dont have to NOT wrestle. lol.....just dont turtle and give up your backfedor4life said:ok...i dont know any bjj really, and from now on, im not going to use any wrestling, and i will be calm and not very aggressive, but after i actually get the hang of it i will be aggressive with my bjj technique

Go to the following thread http://www.sherdog.net/forums/showthread.php?t=343768
and watch Jacare's HL video. Jacare exhibits proper aggression.
I also wrestled (and still do in my grappling training). I've trained with several D1 collegiate wrestlers, also. I've noticed that these wrestlers are usually not overly aggressive during practice. They focus on drilling and proper technique.
I think that's where fellow grapplers complain. We hate it when new, arrogant, guys (wrestler or not) step on to the mat and treat it like a competition or an MMA fight. I've seen it for quite some time now and I'm at the breaking point. If I treated my submissions like many new, aggressive, people treat training, I'd break everyone of their limbs. Hey...that's not a bad idea. fedor4life and Greoric, you guys wana roll? ha.
fedor4life said:if u broke one of my arms, i would be damned if i didnt knock u out with the other
Greoric said:I'll be glad to roll with ya! As long as youre promising to be a challenge, right?
And damnit Cuozo you of all people should know that I am talking about intensity. Show me a wrestling practice without intensity, and I'll show you a team that doesn't win!

fedor4life said:i dont understand your point...sylvia wanted to continue in that fight...u dont know what im capable of...there are two types of people, the people that bitch out when they get injured, and the people that get 10x more intense when they get injured...u ever hear that animals are most dangerous when injured???...u just gotta get that animal instinct...i love how multiple people talk about how they would break my arm if i rolled with them...u guys know where i train, u should show up sometime
thewaterchapter said:fedor... did you used to play offensive tackle in high school... and slap your teammates asses in the shower? honestly man, you are the biggest meatstick on these forums man. "animals are more dangerous when theyre injured.." hahaha, say that when you try rolling with a broken arm or ankle.
you remind me of those guys from 'harold and kumar' who just go around doing stupid shit yelling EXTREME!!! haha youre so extreme fedor.
i do not see your BJJ career lasting long what so ever.
Greoric said:Wow, you guys are really ganging up on this guy.....Time for me to jump in with a few words of distraction.
