Actors/Actresses Hollywood thinks have got "it", but...don't

Fair and I liked him in Maverick fine, TBH. I've picked up lately on Hollywood lead-manning him is all and I don't think he has it. I'm sure he'll go on to make bank and think himself the bee's knees but he won't carry any film for me the way Brad Cooper or Brad Pitt can, to name two who mix it up across comparable genres.

I don't know why they keep putting this jacktard in major motion pictures. He's got zero charisma. As far as I can tell, he doesn't really have anything going for him. No outstanding qualities. He sucks.

Now You See Me, Now You Don't
Jurassic World

Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves
Pokemon: Detective Pikachu

Paul Dano. He is like Chris farley. Same character. Turns his desperation and what ever his mental disability is that movie up and down
There will be blood
Riddler
Hugh jackman kidnap movie
Same character with different levels of desperation and a mental disability

Jesse Plemons aka Fat Damon.

Fat Damon is good

I don’t know how to answer the OP but it does seem as though BB Thornton has it. He’s in a bunch of successful series as a major star (Fargo, Goliath, Landman) and also sold his soul to T-Mobile.

If the OP applied to television, I’d say Trevor Noah. Hot garbage

This is Glen Powell for me 100.

I think him talentless – or milquetoast 'just there' boy fairer said – but can tell we'll be seeing heaps more of him because he's being put in all gamut of genres from Netflix romcom to monster-budget dramas like Top Gun II.

He has neither the leading man charm nor charisma he thinks he does. I wouldn't say a negative word about him if he'd stayed in support roles because he's fine as an 'O, yeah, that guy' char.

I don't mind this guy. In fact, he's pretty good in most things I have seen him in. He was cool in The Hitman movie. Haven't seen him in the quarterback show.

He may be most effective as "the serious one in a buddy cop role".

Fat Damon is a better actor than Matt Damon.
Agreed. I have no idea where that comes from. He's been absolutely crushing it since he got his breakout role on Friday Night Lights.

One of the best actors of his generation. The anti-Trump chicken little movie Civil War was obnoxiously heavy-handed, but he was freaking electric in it. Hands down the best 10 minutes of the movie.

I'm not sure why anyone would naysay this filmography:

Bugonia
Killers of the Flower Moon
The Power of the Dog
The Master
American Made
Bridge of Spies
Civil War
Vice
The Post
Breaking Bad
Black Mirror
(Star Trek spoof "USS Callister" episodes)
Fargo (season 2, the best season)
Friday Night Lights

Zendaya and Chalamet ruined Dune 2 for me, I don't get why they keep casting them in A list roles. Completely overrated and not talented or charismatic enough to carry a movie.
Dune 2 ruined dune 2

They were both thoroughly decent in the first one.

Most the characters got shitter in the 2nd one: chalamet’s mum, leader of the worm people, Batista’s character. Most everyone’s character was shit in the 2nd vs 1st movie. With great characters like Duncan Idaho and daddy Atreides killed off in the first.

After how much I loved the 1st one, the 2nd one is one of my biggest disappointments at the cinema ever

I listed his biggest projects in the OP.

He's more of a bit player in the Jurassic films, sort of a spiritual heir of Samuel L. Jackson's character, in some ways, but he's one of the key cast members in the other three with oodles of screentime.

Check out the reported movie budgets:
$465m = Jurassic World: Dominion (<-- the 2nd most expensive movie ever made)
$465m = Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (<-- the 3rd most expensive movie ever made)
$150m = Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves
$150m = Pokemon: Detective Pikachu
$90m = Now You See Me, Now You Don't

Zendaya. WTF is she related to someone really powerful in Hollywood?

She’s suited only for specific roles -like Euphoria- but she has no range or charisma at all.

Jennifer Lawrence. She's pretty enough but not Hollywood levels of gorgeous and she seems like just a random girl...not much in terms of charisma/star power. They've only been promoting her because of feminist reasons since she was a 'kick ass' character in The Hunger Games.

I don’t totally agree with this one. She has shown some pretty good range in films like ‘Silver Linings’ and ‘American Hustle’. I think the thing with her is that she’s aging out of certain roles she’d be good for and is gradually losing status and because of that she’s taking roles that don’t quite fit her to keep working.

She's been given some great opportunities...only because of feminist reasons.

And which roles has she been taking that don't quite fit her?

Pedro - very average at best actor Hollywood think shits greatness.

Zendaya - not good at all and looks extremely overrated Tom Holland n Tim Chslomet made her without them she's a B movie star
