Actors/Actresses Hollywood thinks have got "it", but...don't

If thats Florence Pugh ......... wtf ? Shes like the best they got or one of.

I actually liked him in Chad Powers where he plays an undercover QB in college. He has some decent comedy chops. But yeah he doesn't have leading man charisma.
Depends on leading on your leading man standards. He can lead a tv series, streaming, high end ed dtv...

The we will see category would be big blockbuster but the leading men is like 3 or fourth important element for those nowadays.

Meryl Streep. Seems beyond pretentious and haughty and is past her prime. Yet every time anything comes out with her in it people treat her and the movie like it's the ark of the covenant.......the real ark, not the indy jones movies.

She's been given some great opportunities...only because of feminist reasons.

And which roles has she been taking that don't quite fit her?

Off the top of my head she took a comedy role where she has to date this younger kid.. just didn’t work. It’s not that she’s terrible in the film it’s just that it came off as awkward more than anything.

She’s aging out of that type of role imo.. on the other hand I think she’s at her best when she has to play someone with a full range of emotions, manic personalities and so on. She still brings good energy to her roles but I think as she ages she’ll have to be pickier with her projects.

Zendaya and Chalamet AND REBECCA FERGUSON ruined Dune 2 for me, I don't get why they keep casting them in A list roles. Completely overrated and not talented or charismatic enough to carry a movie.
They bloody sucked. They ruined both parts of Dune for me.

Well how was she too old for that role if she was playing a woman in her early 30's and she was 33 at the time?

That role doesn’t fit her is more what I was trying to say. That’s more a classic Jennifer Anniston type role (for example). I don’t think Lawrence does that type of stuff well. As for aging out I’d say roles like ‘The Hunger Games’ would be more along those lines. To me she’s more of a dramatic actress and fits better in that space.

I don't know why they keep putting this jacktard in major motion pictures. He's got zero charisma. As far as I can tell, he doesn't really have anything going for him. No outstanding qualities. He sucks.

Now You See Me, Now You Don't
Jurassic World
franchise
Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves
Pokemon: Detective Pikachu

Who you got?

I agree

I’m sure he’s a decent guy but how the heck is he getting all those roles

I guess he’s the half black version of Michael Cera or Jesse Eisenberg of this generation

Austin Butler and his fake accent that apparently he can’t shake off. Stfu.

Sorry for the derail @Madmick

This girl... from the worst Marvel movie and they are still trying to shove down our throats

They are shoving Pugh down everyone's throat, but her performances aren't bad. Liked her in Midsommer.

I think it has something to do with septum piercings and being woke.

Why TF do they keep trying to shove this Nosferatu down everyone's throat?

She's apparently going to play Voldemort on HBO in another diversity swap. She's like the poster child for Hollywood diversity hires, with all the white women gaslighting her that's she's beautiful and "amazing."
