International Active US Air Force member self-immolates outside Israel Embassy in Washington

Don't think so. The Vietnam monk has been immortalized for 50 years now. These things are uncommon especially for an active USAF officer.
Anyway, whether it is remembered by a million superficial people with 30 second attention spans as they scroll to their next picture of UberEats is largely irrelevant. Whether it is remembered by people with a moral compass is what is important.

And what's significant is if the gravity of his actions and the gravity of our military depravity resonates more fully through this, with someone of decision making importance. And that is very much a distinct possibility.

People with moral compasses don't run the world. So his death is utterly irrelevant.

Or do you really think Biden and Netanyahu are going to radically change their strategy for dealing with Hamas because one retard decides to turn himself into a Roman Candle?

if i were suicidal, I like to think i would do something that would actually be an accomplishment on my way out. Like if sherdog ever reads about the suicide of llperez, I damn well hope the dead body of casey anthony or someone along those lines is next to mine.

You've just restated an absurdity though.... It's not arrogant to consider that there's 7 billion people on the planet and that they aren't all going to think exactly like you... weigh the situation the same as you do. I think it's just realistic to think that way, don't you?

What position is more areogant here? The one saying saying there's 7 billion people and lots and lots of different ways to look at this situation or you saying no there's only my way and everyone else is either stupid if they don't agree or no one's going to think differently than me about it anyway?

Genuinely man, which of those two positions do you think is more arrogant?
You only present this methodology with beliefs you yourself are not militant about. That's why most of us laugh at your part-timey and hypocritical worldviews...

All the people clawing at the "does such and such power structure give a fuck," to belittle him. To me, it just sounds like you're wrestling with the emotions his act was meant to give you. Shame. And you're coping. That's fine, but it is what it is. He knew that what we were doing was too evil to live with, and he wanted to make sure you felt your shame. And now you do. So, he was successful in as much as possible.

Yeah we all feel deep terrible shame and coping because an uneducated mentally ill person set himself on fire.

LOL.

Where do these people come from?

Imagine setting yourself on fire to own the Jews.

Well that's a positive claim. Let's have you back that up with some facts. Why don't you name three positions I'm different about??

Because for the most part this is the position I feel strongly about in any given discussion.

You wouldn't give a fuck about him if he screamed, while burning, for the Ukraine war to end.

Sit down and shut up.

What I'm saying is that you're presenting this air of bothsidesism, claiming it to be a mark of intelligence, while only applying it certain positions. Things like LGBTQ, YHWH, bigfoot, aliens....you're firmly planted in a position and do not play the tone you're offering here.

It's all good, most of us do it to a degree.
