The Ontario provincial election is underway tonight. In the three corners:

Kathleen Wynne -- Liberal Party: Ontario's existing premier, and the most hated person in Ontario. She has already conceded that she has no chance of winning, but that you should vote Liberal anyways to prevent a Conservative majority. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/wynne-liberals-ontario-election-minority-government-1.4689222

Andrea Horwath -- New Democratic Party. The New Democrats are historically far left leaning, and Ms. Horwath is no different. Ontario was left in ruins after the New Democrats held power from 1990-1995, and the New Democrats have not held power since.

Doug Ford -- Progressive Conservatives: The Progressive Conservatives seemed to have an easy win this election, that is until they elected Doug Ford as leader, ahead of several sane candidates. There are ongoing strategic campaigns to avoid a Ford majority win.

Currently, the NDP and Conservatives are neck and neck in the polls. It is possible that the Liberals may get so few seats that they will lose their official party status.

Official Prediction: Conservative Majority.

Doug Ford’s got this. His brother’s watching out for him. Here’s a picture of Rob looking down on his brother from heaven:

Let's see if we can get more than 51% voter turnout.

Go NDP!

As a high income, card carrying member of the PC party -- I actually shook my head when voting for Wai because I know it comes with a Ford leadership. But, what am I going to do vote for a socialist who is proud for Ontario to be a 'have not' province while she goes after my income tax? Fuck that.

Voted Conservative, felt like taking a shower afterwards. I feel terrible voting for a party that's so shit and with such a slimeball at the head of it, but the choices weren't exactly great. The candidate I voted for is pretty controversial and hated throughout Toronto, but he's the city councillor here already and twice I've contacted him about something and both times he took care of it right away. The NDP candidate is a 25 year old kid who, when I talked to him, didn't seem to know too much about policy and relied on buzzwords. And the incumbent MPP is a Liberal cabinet minister who is a complete POS.

The Liberals need to go, but the other options are pure shit. I was leaning NDP but my candidate didn't inspire confidence and while I would probably prefer Horwath to represent this province as opposed to that sleazy oaf Ford, she really lost me with that "sanctuary province" bullshit.

Got my PC vote in! Monte McNaughton is going to win my riding no matter what anyways.

Kitchener Center is a goddamn mess, I held my nose and voted for the Liberal, Ford would be terrible for me and my family so I'm hoping for a Conservative minority. Shake things up a little without that moron getting full reign. It's hilarious how low a % of the vote the Conservatives would need for a majority, thanks FPTP.

Voting for Trump politics no platform having Doug, eh boys?? lol. Dude rips off his own family but hes got your back!!!

My pc candidate is a former sunshine girl

I don't begrudge people voting for the Conservatives, but the biggest Ford fanboys I know are also the dumbest people I know. Like, got kicked off the landscaping crew for smoking weed in the boathouse dumb.

Pretty sure Daiene Vernile keeps that seat -- good luck man, Kitchener Center is going to be a logistical mess with all that construction that's about to go down with the gentrification plan

Scheer is the only sensible guy Canada has for people that own firearms. The radical progressive libs and NDP will make life miserable for Canadians.

Mr. Scheer, the only federal party leader who owns guns, stands by the firearms policies he made during last year’s Conservative leadership race, his spokesman Jake Enwright said.

Much of America felt like this in the last election.

Yeah, it was a strategic vote (thanks FPTP!), though I really worry the split vote on the left will sneak Thorn in. I drive big trucks for a living and it's already been a nightmare with the light rail coming in, the businesses downtown have been ravaged. It will probably make sense down the line but right now it seems like too much, too fast. I don't trust any of the candidates or local government to properly plan out massive infrastructure projects, hopefully they have some experts on it at all times.

Going to vote right now...not sure for who though.

Go Doug Ford.

Let's Wipe Wynnes existence out!! I don't want to see a single liberal party seat.
