@wlu.29 That's harsh... We're offering to give Canada a chance to escape the G7 zone...

That woman looks like she smells like a wet dog.

Elizabeth May is a drunken buffoon who makes Trudeau look like Stephen hawking intellectually. She has been hauled off stage by handlers at her own press conference for drunken rambling multiple times

Excuse my interjection, but is Washington DC your #1 favorite place to live in America?

All the ultra rich lobbyists who go around paying off politicians live there...

And the politicians

Welp, here is who has stepped up to lead the grease fire that is Liberal party.

Carney is going to dog walk her.

If you do the math on Carney it makes no sense for him to take on the leadership of the Liberal party.

He would be leading a party in shambles that is destined to be crushed in the next election. Carney will be 60 at that the time of the next election. So even if he rebuilds the Liberal party and wins in 2030, he will be prime minister until he is 70. Why would he want to do that? He's also straight out of the mold of the '2010s globalist leaders' that are being ushered out of power seemingly everywhere in the western world.

My guess is he'll be finance minister until the election and then, for personal reasons, he'll move to a private life of sitting on boards making a lot of money.

I agree with almost everything you said, but Carney is the only choice the LPC can make that doesn’t see them potentially lose party status. 338 updated today and saw a little movement upwards for the Libs at the expense of the NDP and Bloc. I think Carney could conceivably bring them back into official opposition territory. Even if he loses, he still gets to add PM of Canada to his CV and then potentially lead the official opposition.

He maybe the only choice for the Liberal party but Carney, personally, has many better options.

Donald Trump could see Justin Trudeau's weakness more than a mile away and humiliated him.

Late to the party here. But DAMN! 2025 is shaping up to be the best year of the decade so far.
