A log by MIDMO

I literally had no idea that there are pictures of Asians in bikinis on the internet.

I spent a while looking, and I found that there are indeed a few, like this:

But I presume that this kind of thing is not very common.

yes its rare, because normally they take off the bikini by the second pic in the series. Damn shame those bikini designers aren't getting their due.

I'm going to revive an old tradition around here and predesignate my workout for my weekend.

Thursday
Deads 435x1 365x3x7
deficits

Friday
Z-Press
125x5x5
BOR

also cardio, why you might ask, cause I might be doing some fighter prep over the next few weeks and might as well kick it off right. It will most likely be sprint work indoors. Also the prep will mostly likely be me switchign out rounds with actaul in shape active fighters so it shouldn't be that bad
(places trashcan matside)

First, Tosa starts jumping rope.

Now you're doing cardio?

I don't know what is going on.

Notes

Changed warmup a little to adjust to.bigger jumps. The 435 felt like the 365 that followed. No one to run tape so I'm not sure how they looked. Started dragging about set 4 but got through all seven. Grip held but was painful.

Switched to straps for.deficits. hit 3 more reps for working sets. Added 10# s to deficits. Tried kneeling squats. Interesting but not something I think I could get use to doing. The squats were just for the bottom stretch and were paused about 10sec.

Not sure if ill jump weight or reps again next session. Will probably keep jumping the single 10# each session til it stalls. Time for deads and deficit was about 50 minutes

NOTES

Had to pull myself out of bed today and creaked and cracked my way to the gym. Those deadlift sets from yesterday didn't make me sore musclulary(if thats a word which I know I didn't spell right if it is). But my joints were ouchy. My back oddly enough felt really good. I was going to do Z-Press but since I hadn't done regular overhead in awhile figured I'd just bang some of that out. I had a call from my old coach for some rounds at 10a so I didn't want to overdue it and then try to box. If he didn't show I could always just go back to the weight room and get after it. My traps were really creaky and achy along with my elbows. But i banged out the sets and worked my way back down to a 135. Nothing hard. Bench blew though. 225 seemed unstable and hard which hasn't happened in at least a year.

considering how my upper back felt rapped when I walked in I almost didn't even try BOR. But I'm getting a better engagement on my upperback during deads so I figured I'd give it a shot and if nothing else cut it short. Instead I banged out effortless reps. Not sure what was going on there. Curls were for 15s which left me swolt and massive looking. Bitches wanted me.

My log contains cardio on a frequent basis, just last week I walked for 25 whole minutes

Boxing Notes

Boxing

Like I said by old coach has a habit of setting up rounds then missing them. So I just sort of throw my bag in the truck and if he shows he shows. Well today he showed. The room we usually use had a class and out second choice has been converted to day care. So with no other good options we decided to flash back to the early ninties and go Lionheart style and fight in the raquetball room. I felt very Jean Claude.

My left is still a serious tool and stiffer than I remember, when I could throw a straight right it would move him regardless of whether I landed on the gloves or not. I still tend to throw it over the top which isn't really effective against him since he picks up the movement really well. We played old man rules and didn't push real hard at first but its the most cardio I've done in awhile. Once we got to kicking and knees it became less of a struggle. His hands are better than mine inside by leaps and bounds as I'm lazy but once I get to clinch and bang out knees its over. I would guess he's close to 200 at this point but I can push or pull him were ever I want. Clear his hands and fire a knee to the gut. Lucky for him we normally don't knee to the head for fun.

My leg kicks were slow and awkard as was my leg kick D, I threw a couple high kicks for fun and didn't land any of them flush. I did go all Spider on him and drop a few front kicks up the middle which at one time for me was money. The only truly pretty kick I threw was a spinning side kick that blasted him into the wall and sounded like a fucking gunshot because of the echo.

I will most likely not be able to walk by morning.

I tried to find some pictures of girls curling.

This is what I got:

I don't know much about Sweden's olympic team but I would think based on their bikini team they could do better than that.

Nice. And not so nice.

+1 for gunz work+UFC. Deadliest of combinations.

Everyone knows that the Gunz are dominant in almost UFC moves. MIDMO has already pointed out that they are your choking muscles, but they are also used for arm bar defense and even for applying the arm bar (holding the arm tight while you use minor muscle groups to extend the hips- pretty unimportant compared to the bicep action, but a part of the movement, I suppose)). You use them in the clinch in Muay Thai, and to hold your opponent tight while tripping or going for an impressive Diego Sanchez-style running/screaming slam. It's why you see fighters going into the ring with all kinds of injuries, but never a bicep injury- you simply couldn't fight with one.

I threw the last chick(?) on there to remind people that there are women who have the gunzors as well and they might rape you. This will not be the pleasant kind of female male rape we all dream about but a more violent and less satsifying kind of rape in which the male can not walk correctly after and may require corrective surgery. Without the curls you are defenseless.
