I won't use the word fan. I watch the games when their on but don't set aside time for them. I don't think I would ever buy tickets to a game but since these were given to me I sure as hell not going to turn them down.

But if I had to pick a team in the NFL to say was my fav, I would say KC, since their baseball team blows.

Dude I just went on a long trip for an mma event and ate way too much mcdonalds and energy drinks. Definitely makes me feel like I could die if I kept that diet up.
 
I could have handled the football trip pretty easy but on top of the boxing trip the night before(I got home by 2 but couldn't settle down) it was a little much. I caught a couple hours this afternoon but I'm at work all night now. I should get back at it on Friday hopefully.
 
Okay, I'm getting back into deads properly. Did one double at 405 lbs. today, plus some singles. Gonna go for a new PR (above 455) soon.

I've got a long way to go. But I'm happy to report that A. Hook grip hurt less than expected today, and B. No body parts got wrecked from doing 405 lbs. for the first time in many months.

So, I've weathered a few storms (broken toe, left elbow issue) and the horizon seems clear. Best of luck to ya.

I'm hoping that 500 still falls in the near future. But I'm realistic enough to plan for the long run. I can only assume that you will manage to beat me by a day or two since thats how my luck runs. I need to post some demotivational pics in your log soon I would think.

I'm more than happy to lose this race to you, I'm not saying I'm going to let you have it by any stretch though. I'll be back at it friday and give you an estimate on a date I'll be finishing this out, I'm thinking March 26 sounds good.

Was scheduled for 3*8 today didn't feel quite up to it. Hit a single to test the back. Dropped my heavy single. Still dragging from a long weekend. Then was going to do 2*8 but had gas at the end to hit all 24 reps. Played w squat for the stretch. Then wanted to put some weight on my back, Low box is 12". Complete stop at bottom. No real assistance as I suppose to go to bjj tonight. Will hit upper tomorrow if I can walk.

2 rounds boxing
2 rounds kickboxing
2 rounds Thai rules
2 rounds MMA rules

8 - 4 minute rounds Grappling with strikes

Felt Ok with the stand up, wasn't fighting as long as I would like, seemed to just be a hair short on my left and not moving forward as much as I would like with it. Landed some leg kicks and some high kicks for giggles. Was able to threaten with the shot enough to change his game.

Grappling I was happy with my effort in the final couple of rounds as the first few were basically just giving postion away for his benifit. Did a good solid job on my D from the back and from side. Not so hot inside half or in the transitions, I guess I should except to be a little slow in the scramble with a guy half my age and only being on the mat every month or so. I actaully was doing a good job striking during the grappling which isn't my strong suit.
