No you throw out opinions based on your politics about him as a person and downplaying any accomplishments. There is nothing here to argue for me. Opening all his Tesla patents in 2014? The man isn't a saint but he's no demon either.

Even ignoring his heel turn to the right, he has something of a checkered history (and that's being charitable). How much of his history are you familiar with?

I'm not trying to pile on here or pick a fight, I used to kind of respect Elon until the incident with the That diver. I was legit excited that a billionaire was going to throw his resources at getting the kids out of the cave, I totally bought into the Tony Stark narrative, but how it played out made me take a really close look at who he is. I don't generally care about the incredibly wealthy outside of weird things like why Bill Gates is buying so much water, but I was disappointed Elon is such a shitty person. Only because I had kind of assumed he wasn't.

It sucks that he completely destroyed Twitter but I'm far more concerned with the raw tonnage of satellites he's putting into orbit and what's going to happen to them in the long run.

It's fair to be cautious of someone with too much power. I have said that I don't know him. Nor his motives, but I've seen lots of effort to make things better for the most part. The dude opening the patents for anyone to use just a few years after he started production of his first ev... for anyone here, China, the Japanese to take on and improve... I don't hate the man. No worries bud. I don't feel a pile on unless it's trolling. Cheers
