.

Too light. Would get ragged dolled. Also lacks the punching power to keep a HW honest. Tony would also not be able to stay long against a HW with an average HW reach. Inari rpll would get him sat on then mounted :)

I love Tony, but I severely doubt it.

Edit; I should have asked what you meant by low level before I opined.

How low lvl?
Like a regional HW or Someone in the UFC like Harry Hunsucker

Oh yeah, there's plenty of regional HWs that Tony would beat the soul out of. Actually, that's a good answer to the OPs question. If you want to know what an overweight LW, WW or MW fighting at HW looks like, watch regional MMA.

I would first ask if a lightweight could even get a win at heavyweight.

I'm not that guy but what about Josh Parisian or Jared Vanderaa. Do you see Tony beating one of those guys?

Well Fedor definitely could’ve been a MW if he had the discipline to do so

There is nothing funnier than some SHerdog dweeb talking about a fighter not having discipline lmao.

I don't know enough about those guys to even have an opinion. I've only watched maincard action (often only the top 3 billed fights) and on odd occasions prelims for a few years now. Too much MMA, Boxing/MT and RL stuff to follow as closely as I did in the past. I sort of miss the old days of a few cards per year where all the boys here and on the UG would pick over each fighter and fight with a fine tooth cone. I barely recall what happened in fights I saw a month ago while I can clearly picture fights from Pride :( I don't think it helps the UFC looks corporate and bland now; every card sort of blends together in my head.

I bet Islam could beat Josh Parisian & a similar lowlevel guy. Hunsucker still around?

A lightweight that is a lightweight champ so he can still cut to 155 so he is fighting at heavyweight at 175 or so? No, I don't think that will ever happen.

BJ Penn was the closest to someone who could pull it off, he was fearless and a bit crazy.

on a streak? idk man, that's a huge difference in weight. I mean if you took the best LW ever (Khabib) and had him fight some of the absolute cans of the HW division i'm sure he could possibly string a few wins together, but with that big of a weight difference even the more unskilled HW's would have a chance.

lmao at people thinking khabib of all people would have success against any HW, dude's game was all about being stronger than his opposition

what you think he gonna do? grind derrick lewis to the wall and then take him down?
