The craziest part about this stat is that they gave McDavid a Smythe in one of those years on a losing team and Reinhart didn't even win it on the winning team. Lol.

Reinhart > McDavid but only if you care about silly things like winning.

Cool guys seem to think padding your personal stats is more importsnt

McDavid has gorgeous finesse but it doesn't translate well against teams that are out there to simply beat your ass en route to the Cup. The only thing Florida did was implemented the physicality and not allow him to finesse his way into the zone. If that's all you have to do to neutralize him then that's a huge problem going forward if he never has an answer for it. Which is why all this talk about him dumping Edmonton is wild to me when a big part of why they lost was his lack of productivity and ability to adjust. He looked like he never got hit in his life in this series. Florida simply beat their ass in all six games. Edmonton had to force OT in both games they won.

Imagine what Scott Stevens would do to him...

And look how many Cups Stevens has. You can't be all finesse and expect to dance your way to a Cup without implementing physicality into your game. If he had the dog mentality like a MacKinnon or Ovechkin he might have one by now. Ovechkin is one of the greatest ever and he's probably gonna end his career with only one.

after scoring 2 goals and 2 assists in the 3rd period of the last game, arshdeep bains continues to go arsh deep, this time potting this filthy goal to make that his 6th goal in 6 games.

go canucks go!

I think Charlotte's coach was the first ever free agent signing for the Thrashers.

58 F right now in BC in June. o_O

Panthers win in OT!
Vancouver gonna riot and tear down that steam clock.

that was the most bullshit goal in the history of bullshit goals. the farm team 4th liner drafted in 2016 gets credited with a goal after trying to make a pass and having the puck pinball off of two canucks skate blades and into the net in overtime, where florida's farm team was getting their asses handed to them the entire period and even had 6 major scoring chances against them and two goalposts hit. max sasson had the game on his stick. charlotte's goalie kept on straight up robbing them.

that lucky motherfucker could try that shit 50 more times and guaranteed that puck wouldn't have gone into the net on any single time. but all it takes is once, and that was indeed a garbage fucking goal in every sense of the word.

the officiating was absolutely horrible in that game for both sides, especially the canucks. i aint even gonna blame it on the refs though because the canucks had a gazillion chances to win especially in overtime, but they couldn't get it done so that was their own doings.

but man those noobie refs are taking some heat right now. they had actual referees calling in after the game talking shit about them thats how bad it was. i don't care what team it is you guys cheer for, that was the worst officiating in a hockey game that you would ever see, and even the announcers (former nhl players) didn't shy away from pointing that out.

Damn Twitter reminding me today of another wonderful moment in FL Panthers history when that dipshit Mike Keenan traded Luongo.
