As I thought, mavs defense hasn't been designed to defend a team this good on the 3 ball, and it's showing bad.

That's why they play 7 games man, 1 game is still only 1 game no matter how many you win by. I would expect the Mavs to figure some things out tonight and have a much stronger game 2. I would be way more concerned if Luka and Kyrie were playing great but they were still losing. Mavs are shooting 39% from the floor and 17% from 3 so I'm not that concerned despite the Celtics making every shot they take.

i'm constantly perplexed how Boston could afford pay all these players they got. It feels like their team salary should be like quadruple most other teams.

Assuming Boston wins, a 1-0 series lead holding home court is the smallest lead in basketball. Wayyyy to early to think the series is over or anything. But it does seem like there will be some structural challenges around Dallas being able to defend the perimeter shooting.

Well I'm sure the luxury tax (roughly $40 million) is pocket change for the owner as long as he cares about winning. And they still haven't locked up Tatum like they did Jaylen.
