It’s more about effort tonight. Literally slow close outs/rotations or not even trying to run at the shooters, lazy box outs allowing them a million offensive rebounds and they are losing every loose ball. Came out flat and the celts are torching them.

Also add missing wide open shots and bad turnovers on the offensive end.

Dallas usually loses G1. Boston is back at home and hitting absolutely everything. G2 will really tell us where the series is going. Dallas has to be better on switches on the perimeter, they have to give more effort, and make the easy baskets as well.

It's about effort yes, but if you look at the mavs starting 5, gafford and Lively aren't going to be amazing perimeter defenders (they've been amazing on the inside though) neither are luka and kyrie. Celtics are elite from three, 1 through 8 can shoot the three ball.

I really hope mavs can learn from this game..
