With Gillibrand and Booker, both have been hawkish toward Iran, both supported military action in Syria and Libya, and both have been shameless in their defense of Israel. Gillibrand also sided with Republicans during Bush's second term on allocating new resources toward the effort in Iraq without providing plans or standards for withdrawal.

The second sentence seems like pretty obvious common knowledge: persons who have not advocated for peace and have no expressed interest in foreign affairs tend to be easily swayed toward hawkish policy positions, even if it is cloaked in the nonsense of pragmatism and making decisions on a case-by-case basis. To expect centrists to, once in power, suddenly develop principled positions that stand against the weight of American imperial interests is naive. If viewing it in terms of the left-right axis is helpful, you can look to the legacy of centrist liberals in the arena of foreign policy.

Booker supported the Iran deal, which actually created problems for him. Gabbard opposed the deal. So even if we only look at Iran, I think Gabbard has been more hawkish.

You'll have to define "centrist" here. I mean, yeah, if we're taking it for granted that people don't have principles, we can assume they'll follow the path of least resistance, which could as easily be isolationism as hawkishness (seems more likely, actually). But I don't think it's reasonable to take that for granted. I think the whole argument is shaky.
